A Funny Thing Happened on
the Way to the Forum.

Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
Book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart
Based on the plays "Miles Gloriosus", "Pseudolus",
and "Mostellaria" by Plautus (251-183 B.C.)

It's a bit like this place really!

CAST
Prologus -
The Proteans -
Senex -
Domina -
Hero -
Hysterium -
Marcus Lycus -
Pseudolus -
Tintinnabula -
Panacea -
The Geminae -
Vibrata -
Gymnasia -
Philia -
Erronius -
Miles Gloriosus -

The question is which posters to this forum should play the parts to the original forum?
Have fun!

No, it's not like this place. As someone said to me last night: "AW has had it--the cats have taken it over"

AW has had it--the jews have taken it over

Not to get all politically correct or anything, krs, but geez, that's a really offensive thing to say. Or maybe I'm just offended because I am Jewish? Nah, I think it's just plain offensive.

Well, I'm not Jewish, and I think it was offensive.

Oh, alright, Barry. For you I'll change it though I thought that coming from me anyone would know that it is purely facetious.

How about cats? Cats OK?

You should have stuck with your pre edit post discussing a suspended member rather than the current one offensive to other Users.

You know the rules - I shouldn't have to remind you to be respectful of other Users when posting.

Yeah, I thought to give them something else to complain about today, Michelle.

I can't ask if there are any cats who are members. At least not without cracking up.

You have to be nice to individuals but it's OK to talk about world grabbing zionist imperial conspiricy.

Which brings up something I have been wondering- If they think the Jews have the world momey markets dangling on puppet strings why can't they pry their money from WWII out of the fingers of the Swiss bankers?
Doesn't seem to jive....

No no no! I've never said that the Egyptians were the cause of all that people complain of, just that all western religion and culture has roots with them.

Some people (particularly here?) seem to just live to complain; I'd never presume as to their reasons for that.

You are wrong.

The piranhas have taken it over. It's difficult for an outstanding poster such as Borillar to maintain his composure when he is
relentlessly followed around by the piranhas making derogatory and unprovoked attacks on every post that is made.

Helen,

I take it that you are defending cats?

While I can see borillar's cause for anger over zilvy's postings at the time, I don't see that there was any reason to bring up hepburn and post in that rancorous vein about her.

Transient anger is something that I don't think is avoidable all of the time and it has sometimes worked to the better understanding between people here, but to hold onto it as a thing of itself, even to allow it to develop into a generalized bitterness is not beneficial to anyone, especially not to the person feeling it. When it gets that bad then maybe it's time to move on.

You did use a plural for the fish, but in any case further discourse on the subject cannot avoid entering into areas which are verboten--specifically moderation.

OK?

Hello HJW,

Referring to some posters as Pirahnas violate the respect aspect of the Community Guidelines.

Also, everyone needs to refrain from discussing the suspended member.

Thank you,
