i've read the threads with the US flag gifs for auctions .. but what I want is a picture/drawing of one that I can print off on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper ... to display on a window in my home. I've searched the web some .. to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It isn't much, but I want to display Old Glory .. and getting a real one isn't too practicable at the moment - in Canada here. (Or, forgive me, would displaying the US flag on paper be improper perhaps .. I know that there are rules for handling the flag, as there should be.)
there are no words to describe the horror and shock of this past week. every time I wake up, every time I turn on the tv, or see a newspaper, or a headline anywhere, it is almost like hearing it the news for the first time ... but then, this is something that we should never become use to ... but we need to somehow learn how to live with the fact that it has happened ... just how to accomplish that ... i haven't a clue.
thank you to posters here, and all over the web, who share their feelings of shock and grief ... it helps a bit to know others feel the same.
May God help us all in this time of grief and sorrow.
