I think had the passengers on the other plane been warned what was going on too or what all happened on those other planes, we would have known more heroes.

In my heart I truly believe what Reamond said, had they known what lay in store they would have fought with every fiber in their collective bodies. I will bet that the hijackers on the PA plane talked more than they were supposed to, even terrorist martyrs like to strike fear that is palpable. I just hope they had enough time to realize they had failed and were LOSERS before they bought it.

I heard that the terrorists on the PA plane told the passengers to call people on their cell phones and tell them to watch TV as their plane was going to wreck into the Whitehouse or some other building.

I sort of suspect that the Pennsylvania plane was shot down as they found a debris field 6 to 8 miles from where the plane went down and the people in the area heard a sonic boom.
But that in no way detracts from the heroic fact that they made clear on the cell phone they were going forward with an attempt to retake the plane. I would say we should take the thought as the deed even if they did not succeed. I just hope they had not recovered control only to get a missle up the rear before they could communicate or change direction.

I fluctuate between being "lets nuke 'em all", to "dont blame the country or all the people for a chosen few who are scum", so forgive me for being so wishy washy lately. However, keeping that in mind, know that Im in the "let's nuke 'em all", aka LNEA mode right now, I say IF some of the terrorists are caught, we should give them the same courtesy. In short, telling them to call home (wherever that is) and have their loved ones listen in as shots are fired smack dab to the middle of their foreheads.

Well if you were trying to be nasty catch them all and sit them in front of a TV and let them each watch their city nuked in their honor and then fly them home and let them go about 50 miles down wind.

hepburn - If you motivation is hatred and anger, it will change. I have been a strong advocate of a scortched earth attack, but make no mistake, it is not out of hatred or anger, but out of survival for our Nation.
We are going to be horribly impacted economically. The Congress just passed a package today to finanacially float the Airlines FOR ONLY 90 DAYS and it cost $14 billion dollars.
The security measures our nation now must face are very costly in both up front costs and loss of productivity.
But the enemy must be destroyed at its roots or we will never be safe.
Unless we annihilate the population centers breeding and supporting these terrorists, we must always be on guard. This war footing has destroyed Israel's economy. It will destroy ours if it goes on very long.
The same networks that attacked America 9-11-01 will use nuclear and bio weapons at their earliest opportunity and at any drop in our guard. We have to stop every terrorist, the terrorists only have to be successful a few times.
If innocent people are to die, let it be their innocent people.
I would rather be here to express my regets AT THEIR LOSS FROM OUR ATTACK, than not be here at all.
