There is a rumor about the following:
Have you seen this?: A formal request from NASA: 10:30 EASTERN TIME.... 9:30 Central, 8:30 Mountain, 7:30 Pacific NASA has asked that everyone step out on their lawns tonight at 10:30 and light a candle. They will be positioning a satellite to take a picture of the U.S. and posting it on the news tomorrow morning. Please pass this on to as many people as possible.

If true, would sure be neat. Let's light a candle anyway.

I heard that too on the radio today. I was hoping they would try that last Friday when everyone lit their candles. I have a bunch of them lined up on the deck now ready to light!

I'll light more than a candle. I have a couple of hand held flares in my boat...

I've never heard of NASA doing anything remotely like this. You sure it's not a con?

rgrem,

Please edit the name out of your post. I will give you 30 minutes. If not edited, I will have to delete.

Toke, you might be right, I just went to NASA's home page, and there is nothing there about this. I would think there would be.

Microbes...

Yeah, well...we're being jerked around by almost everyone. We need to be vigilant...on every front, IMO.

Just so you understand that I am the jerkee, not the jerker. LOL

Our local newscast reported that this was a hoax and that NASA did not have these capabilities.

Ohh... NASA could do it, but I have a feeling they are busy taking pictures of other places
