What fashion statement drives you crazy?

Do I have to pick from the list above? I have one that makes me alittle nutso when I see it: "plus" size girls wearing hip huggers and their bellie's are hanging out; lips that are outlined in black liner and no lipstick at all; comb over's (from your list); very old women who wear mini skirts and do NOT have the legs to pull it off; hair decorations, i.e. butterflies, bugs, in hairdo's on women over 35.
Just to name a few.

Piercings tend to make me smile. I've seen some with the eyebrow ring, half a dozen ear rings, lip rings, nose stud, and a tongue stud that made me question their taste in fashion. I can only wonder what else was pierced that was out of sight.
I was lucky, I only had to get some granny glasses, some beads, and bellbottoms to be cool.
Peace, love, stop the war.

Lol...ditto. Most of us have been there, done that, eh? BTW, I still have the granny glasses

Women who shave off their eyebrows...and then draw them back on (usually in widely exaggerated arcs).

No, Hepburn, choose whatever you like. I just happened to notice those on my way home today. After what I heard today about what I hope never makes it to the news, I needed a little laugh.

Ditto, bunnicula, about the drawn on eyebrows. I still have my granny glasses too.

Bunni, yes! My sister does that still. And, she still has her beehive hairdo, too and oodles of aqua net. Yuk.

Men (or boys, these is a cross-age fashion) who wear their pants down so low that they barely hang on their butts. In adult men, the style is usually also accompanied by a huge belly hanging over in the front. Ironically, these are the same guys who have a "no fat chicks" decal on their car or truck.

I think the current crop of teenagers is probably the ugliest to come along in awhile. They have little or no idea (or concern probably, lord knows I didn't care at that age) of what looks good. The guys strive to resemble convicts, the girls want to be whores. I think the Jerry Springer show is setting fashion trends nowadays.

On the other side of the spectrum, cowboys who wear jeans so tight, they have camel toes on their butts instead of the front, ten gallon hats on their heads, and skinny as a rail.
Spaz, you must be viewing the same teenagers I have been seeing myself. Chunky, hip huggers on, rolls hanging over the belt. Gross.

I don't know, Spaz... I look at my pictures from the 60s and 70s - wide, wide bell bottoms, chunky shoes, polyester clothes and don't think these kids have anything on us when it comes to ugly. But I know what you mean.

I'm not crazy about the blond hair with a half inch of black roots look...and gelled to look dirty. Blech.

French rolls are pretty if they dont wind up looking like marge simpson. But yes, my sister still rats her hair where its in a beehive. Only thing missing is the stupid velvet ribbon in the center part. And she is 53. Me, I plan to grow old gracefully.

How about the actresses that put a half pound of collagen in each lip? Even Meg Ryan had that done, the last time I saw her.

Eww. Thats gross too. Everytime I see that on someone, I think of goldie hawn making fun of it in that movie...first wives club.
Can we name words or phrases that irritate us too? Mine right now is the "you rock" thing. Or "so and so rocks".

toke, I can hardly wait to see those collagen injected lips on those women when they're thirty years older. Then it'll be liposuction time.

Carry on.
