On the way home from the flea market today I saw a banner across an overpass that said, "Thank you California for supporting New York City."
Have any of you seen banners like this in your state? It felt good to see that banner. It made me feel connected even though we're clear accross the country.

What freeway were you on, Chococake? I haven't seen anything like that here in the East Bay, although, truth be told, I avoid our freeways as much as possible.
It *is* a truly warming thing to feel "connected" to our far-flung fellow citizens...

plsmith - I was on 101 going north from Palo Alto. I was so suprised to see it I can't remember which overpass it was on I think it was one of the Redwood City turnoffs.
