nanntique	posted on October 16, 2001 05:46:28 PM new irratating? Thanks goodness for Pop-Up killer, or my CRT would have a much flatter screen. The Nextag ad seems to appear anytime you change any screens on AW. Or am I being just an overly sensitive PMSer?

In the process of loading the RT forum, looking at three threads, and posting this reply, Ad Subtract blocked 6 ads and 40 Javascripts. Without all that garbage clogging up your browser you will find that pages load faster. Dr. Beetle
Antelope67	posted on October 23, 2001 07:31:42 AM new My husband found out that if you use adsubtract and you use Norton Antivirus software there will be a conflict. Adsubtract will prevent Norton from being able to get the latest virus definitions. This is for the automatic updates and also for doing the update manually. I'd rather deal with popups than be left vulnerable to the latest computer virus. My husband feels the same way and got rid of adsubtract in order to have the latest virus protection updates.
