All I can say about this one, is why the heck did the mailman put the peoples mail in the box.... If I was the lady in the story, I'd be ticked...

This one may be a little more serious, it's at the local Nuke plant

We had our first county wide call in too. Like they were really gonna target some unknowns in a town of 500. They said it was from their insurance company and had a powdery substance in it.

Now what insurance company (assuming they have the sense to know their own insurance company) is gonna send anthrax?

On the other hand....maybe they weren't paying their premiums..............

That's about what I can expect from our local news paper... the story disappears from their website the next day...

The first story was about a mailcarrier who opened a ladies mail box, saw white powder in it, so he placed her mail in the box anyway, and went and called 911.

She went to get her mail, saw the white powder, and also called 911.

I couldn't help wondering why the mail carrier would put her mail in the box if he thought something was up with the box...

The other one was about a package delivered to the local Nuke plant that had an unknown powder in it, but was from one of their regular venders. The tests are back on the package, and it was clean.

I saw the article by following the link, click on "News" on the left, then click "last weeks news" and then on next screen check off "headlines" and press button at bottom. Both articles are still there.

I'd be upset if my postman put mail into my box after finding a powdery substance as well.
