Did anyone watch 20-20 last night with Barbara Walters interviewing Vladimir Putin?
I must say that I was quite impressed with Mr. Putin. Also very pleased to hear about how much the Russians are willing to help in this "war on terrorism". It sounded as though they would do just about anything except ground troops in Afghanistan. He said for them to put troops into Afghanistan would be like the US putting troops back into VietNam and they were not going to do it. Made sense to me.
He also said he did not believe that BinLaden had gotten any nuclear weapons from Russia. He offered help with bio-terrorism.
All in all I liked what he said and he seemed most reasonable and sensible.

Putin has a soul????
I don't trust that man, sorry. I'm glad for Russia's support but part of their willingness had to do with their desire to crush the revolt in Chechnya. The US used to support the Chechnyan rebels against Russia and are now carefully making neutral statements about the conflict. Perhaps Bush views the Islamic rebels there in a different light after September 11th.

Of course I looked into his soul,silly. If Bush can do it so can I. I fell instantly into the lipid pools of his eyes and was magically transported directly to his soul. I know him, I am sure.
I guess my point wasn't that he was trustworthy ...more that at least he wasn't slamming his shoe on the desk telling us how he was going to bury us as one of his predecessors did. It was refreshing. I know he was/is KGB and can easily tell a lie. I'm not so gullible as that.. GEEESH! I really thought you understood me better than that. Haven't you looked into my soul????

I trust you Rawbunz, totally. But that Putin guy gives me the creeps. He always has, I don't know why. Can't put my finger on it.
