Lord almighty I can see at last!
must be said in a Dr. Martin Luther King sort of tone
I went to the optometrist today at 2:30. The fellow deemed it necessary to dialate my eyes. It is now almost 8:00 and I can finally see again. I had to drive home blind. Quite the trip. Good thing it was only a mile. I took the back roads.
Does it always take that long for your eyes to return to normal? I will never let them do that again!

They should tell you beforehand that they are going to dilate your eyes, Rawbunz. The last time I had mine done, it took about 4 hours til I could see real good. But they tell me before the appointment and make sure I have someone to get me home.
