Is anyone else out there upset that the software to bulk load auctions, both through EBAY and AUCTIONWATCH is not ported to the MacIntosh computer? I have scores of auctions every week, for a system I offer a on EBAY that allows sellers to get merchandise for their auctions without having to pay for it up front. each of these auctions must be "copied" and scheduled one at a time. The software for AUCTIONWATCH'S Sales Manager Pro and Sales Manager Business Edition is ONLY available in PC format and there are no plans to make this available to MacIntosh users in the future. Since 1 in 10 computer operators uses a Mac, isn't this kind of short-sighted? Does anyone else care about this, or think it is a poor choice by Auctionwatch??

It's too bad that Apple uses the Dirty Word: PROPRIETARY. Apple/Mac offers a lot of quality, but Apple is the one who controls it all. No one (well, almost no one) wants to be trapped into a monopolistic situation with their computer. Hell, anyone who lived through the PCs of late 1970 - 1990 understands what HELL it is to be living under a PC that is Proprietary. Remember the TRS-80? The Atari 400/800/1200? The Amiga? TI-99-4a anyone? Sorry, but even if PCs are much lower quality than Macs, at least we have a CHOICE of what we want and from whom. And it makes a difference. What few times that I've had to deal with Apple it has been a series of e-mails and telephone calls that told me that my money was ill-spent and that they couldn't care less about my plight. I don't even put the free apple quicktime on my PC anymore for that reason.

The world has dissed Apple, but how much of this is Microsoft behind the scenes?

It can't be a lot of Microsoft, since Microsoft has such a large stake in Apple. Apples will alternatively run Windows just as easily as it does OS/10.
