From my Merriam-Webster Dictionary:
titanic - [adj] enormous in size, force, or power. [syn] immense, giagantic, giant, colossal, mammoth.
And I agree....it's a titanic job.
Of course it's going to cost more to shore up our security...and do the best we can to protect ourselves from the threats that have been made against our country....our lives.
My hope is that these changes can be successfully implemented before the next attack.

Linda_K, I don't what to sound patronizing to you, but you are naieve about what threatens this nation. The threat from 'within' is always greater to the people of any nation than the threat from 'without'. What has kept Americans as free as they have been from widespread gestopo tactics on the part of our police forces is because of the constant snarl created by different policing agencies. To put all policing agencies under one, secret umbrella and unify their efforts is more of a danger to you and to me than some foreign Terrorist Boggieman conjured up by this Adminstration. America has long had these enemies and it has only been possible for these enemies to reach us due to the organization that was in Afghanistan. So, who's left? This Adminsitration had to conjure up the image of the radical Arab-Muslim on a Holy Cause to blow everyone up in smalltown America in order to put through what easily equates to a KGB Secret Police force here in America. Believe me: there are indeed plenty of radical Arab-Muslims who would like nothing better than to see attacks happen on American soil, but the chances of a repeat attack are so slim, now that funding, support, and training is cut off to them. They are left shaking a fist at TV news cameras. That's not much of a threat, but it's all that there really is. This Hoo-Haw Boggieman is nothing other than Ivan the Communist who wanted to Poison our Water Supplies. Same Boggieman, differnt name and mask.

actually they picked up one trying to get a deposit back, instead of this mega agency bull, why not just increase the deposit ?
