I caught an old Batman show the other day. It had Egghead (Vincent Price) and Batgirl. It also had a bit part character that was played by Alan Hale ( the Skipper from Gilligan's Island).

So what was the character's name that Alan Hale played on Batman ? "Gilligan".

Was the episode filmed the same time Gilligan was on air? Sometimes Batman show would do those things for "camp."

I don't know what year it was made, but it had to be one of the later shows because it had Bat Girl on it.

I think it was on after Gilligan's Island was off the air.

I always laugh when I see Batman shows because he was so out of shape.

I enjoy Batman more now than when I was a youngster. There was certainly more adult enuendo in the shows than I realized then.

If I remember correctly Batgirl joined in the later part of the run whick would overlap the production of "Gilligan's Island." I think so?

According to Imbd, Alan Hale Jr. played "Gilligan" in episode: "Ogg and I, The" (episode # 3.8) 11/2/1967.

Holy Poor Casting Batman!!! Madge Blake, who played Aunt Harriet on Batman, was fitting in age for the role. However, she also played in Leave It To Beaver. In this role she played Larry Mondello's Mother. Larry's character was about 10 years old, as was Beaver. This time frame was 1961-1962. Madge was born in 1900 in real life and played the role of Larry's mother at 61-62 years old. This would have made her a pregant at about 51 years old. The casting director really could have done a better job of casting this role.

If Gilligan had a beard, he would look like Abraham Lincoln.
