...... I guess i'd be a pretty "butch" nurse - maybe they meant male nurse. Anyhow, does anyone out there know who Zinka Milanov was?

a nurse is a nurse. No need to add "male" if the nurse happens to be a man.

Nursing is one of the professions that are now percived to be "women's work" that were originally dominated by men.
