Following a niggling and silly report of "Middle Eastern men whispering in the hallways and visiting arab websites using the school computer in the library, deputies siezed the computer drives without knowing why really.

Right, I thought that it is REQUIRED to whisper in libraries.

Well, if someone raises their voice in my local library, they're asked to quiet down. Next time, they're asked to leave.

There's also a Quran in the religion section! And some books on the Sufis. And comparative religion! Uhhh ohhhhh.

FBI agents urgently reporting flight training irregularities are ignored but whispered communications in libraries are carefully studied? The war on terror is as doomed as the one on drugs.

Just whisper in a library and look like a terrorist and you are nailed.

Like Hitler, Ashcroft and the Bush administration are slowly but surely suspending cilvil liberties with the guise of national emergency as justification. In this case protection against unlawful searches and seizures has simply been ignored.
Attacking schools and anything intellectual was also a part of Hitler's plan. Books were burned and communication became a monopoly. Now we see the Bush administration seizing computers in a school library. The similarity between the Hitler regime and Bush is frightening.

I have a picture of that bearded business man holding my infant son. Wasn't the fatherly type, but we got a cute mini electric guitar in case.

On the kid's Disney keyboard. Imcomprehensible demoralitation...
