House Financial Services Committee,Hearing on Worldcom finances.

The best comedy routine I've seen in a long time! If you missed it,You missed a great skit for late night comedy .

Four men,2 of which invoked the 5th amendment on every question. The two men who did testify,Lied .

Melvin Dick,Worked for Author Anderson,And was made part of management in 2001.
( I think he will be the fall guy)
Great at dancing around answers and had his right hand over his left thru out the entire hearing..In body language it means,I am hideing more then you will ever find out.

Jack Grubman worked for Saloman Smith Barney as a Telecomm. analyst. When he lied his eyelids were at 1/2 mast and fluttered. This guy was too easy to spot.

Young Saloman looked like he would run if givin the chance. He stood on the 5th.

Bernard Ebbers,CEO of Worldcom,I think he hit the bottle the night before the hearings.
I almost fell out of a chair, when Ebbers invoked the 5th when asked if he was a citizen of the United States.

Rumor has it all four wanted to wear a burka in the hearing.

Missed it! I would have enjoyed seeing it too. I did see a little blurb that showed one of them taking the fifth.

Hi Bunz!

You missed the good cop, bad cop routine too.None of the Republicans really got upset
Or mad at what happened,But wanted to talk about the accounting system. The Democrats of course were breathing fire.

I think the tide will turn now.........

I want a cartoon of Ebbers chugging a bottle of Bourbon and a friend in the foreground saying "I'll take the Fifth also."

Well he** Gravid, if that's the kind of "fifth" they are taking I can see why it's so popular.

Hi Junquemama, how've you been? Haven't seen you around in a long time.

I missed the hearing but your recap of the highlights paints a good picture. Hope your right about the tide turning....maybe it'll even drag a few slimy creatures out with it.
