Gravid, LOL!
I know the machine well.
I missed this when posted as we made the biggest portion of our move north last week, but I appreciate the thought. A cobra would be good but I'd really prefer a LOH, OH-6, as that's what I flew in as crewchief/gunner in Vietnam, marking targets for the cobras. The LOH, or the civilian equivelant "Hughes 500" would make a much better family and commuter helicopter as well as being better at low level zipping through trees and terrian to avoid bush forces of oppression.
But oh well, we all make compromises, so I bought a Dodge diesel 4x4 truck yesterday. That and the Subaru should get us through.

If they start locking down areas for martial law and rounding everyone up into camps you might be going through bushes and over small trees with the Dodge. Got space blankets for thermal signature and camo tarps to put over it?

Oh no, that's old technique and they're on to it. The thing now is to duplicate government identifier tracing signatures so that you appear to be one of their own. Cammy is still good for visual masking.
The Dodge will soon make 800 ft. lbs. of torque with 500 hp and be able to grunt over almost anything. A new chip, a different throttle plate, a small increase in boost pressue, a stronger clutch, and bigger injectors is all that Cummins needs to wake up and be uncivil.

LOL - Sounds like the rip across the face of the earth will be visible from earth orbit - trees laying away on each side. Don't run over any Hummers with that monster truck.

It's unreal what can be done with diesels, as they are mostly exempt from EPA regulations.
i was amazed when I first started hearing of diesel trucks turning 100+ mph -10 sec. quater miles and burning rubber on all four wheels all the way through.

I searched and found a lot. 6 wheel monsters that look like the trucks the Germans used in WWII in North Africa.
