Wolf Blitzer from CNN said that the biggest fear the government has in "the war against Saddam" is retaliation.

It may sound silly as a sound bite but there is a legitimate concern of biological and other weapons being used which may affect or actually be targeted at surrounding countries. It is not just retaliation at us that is a problem!

It is quite likely that when we attack, Saddam will use gas or a bio weapon against Israel in the hopes of expanding the conflict and getting other Arab nations in on the "cause". Of course, they won't join him and even we will not be able to hold he Israelis back. But he IS that stupid.

I was being semi-sarcastic.
First, I didn't know there was a war against Saddam. I guess "war against" is a new catch phrase. Second, how could it be called a war if there's no retaliation? I just thought it was an odd statement.

Have you noticed that in all recent film clips that he is either wearing a business suit or civilian clothes? He seems to want to appear as non-military, in a pre-strike attempt to garner sympathy as an undeserving target.

Wow... Saddam says he will agree to further weapons inspections and wants to talk about arms reduction in Iraq. That's good!

He already agreed once and then changed his mind. He is a snake and is trying to buy time until his weapons programs are complete.
