I saw in a thread a bit ago that you were wondering about my cat. Didn't have time to answer then and now I can't remember where I saw it so......here is a CAT thread!!!!!
Babs is doing fantastic! Now that the gargantuan kidney is out she is better than ever. She eats like a piggy and she rolls around in her catnip and sleeps on the bed just like she should. I am amazed at how fast and how well she recovered. Of course the other kidney is diseased so she will not live a long, long life but I can guarantee that she is one happy cat now.
while I'm here I'd like to ask you [all of you!]to please send a little or a lot of positive energy or prayers for my friend Eileen. She is having yet another procedure tomorrow .She is improving some...again I am amazed. She has to sell her house and her car and if she leaves this facility it will be to live with family but at least now she has some hope of leaving.

Hi rawbunzel & stusi! Thanks for updating things rawbunzel. Barbkeith was/is having a time with her cat, so I thought if she heard about one that was sick and is doing well now, it might give her hope (or any other cat lover that has a sick cat).
Babs does sound great! That must be a big relief for you. And Eileen... she'll remain in my prayers too. She's lucky to have you rawbunzel.

Update.
Babs went out this evening as she always does after supper. She was hit by a car and died in my arms.
I really loved that cat and I will miss her so.
if it weren't for bad luck............

Rawbunzel, I am so sorry. I know what it's like to lose a beloved pet. I had to euthanize my 15yr old cat, Connie, on April 19. She had lymphatic sarcoma and started having seizures. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Barbara

How very sad, Rawbunzel, after making such a good recovery from the operation to be hit by a car. I know that you will miss her so much.
