Hello Everyone,

I am posting this as a part of the fundraising effort at our local school. They are collecting donations for the General Mills Box tops for education as a fundraiser that is sponsored by our schools PTA that I am a member.

What we are collecting them for is funding for special education programs. With the budget short falls that happened this past year from the legislature, one of the areas that is going to trimmed back is the special education for the slightly slower kids. I for one don’t want that to happen. So with your help, we can at least keep the program alive. With some additional help this summer, we can get a head start to help get the programs back to where they need to be.

Anyway, one of the things my Daughter’s elementary school is doing to raise money is to save the "Box Tops for Education" logos from General Mills & Betty Crocker products. The General Mills Box Tops for Education are each worth 10 cents and are found on such General Mills products as: Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Total and other General Mills Cereals. Fruit by the Foot, Suddenly Salad, Bisquick, Yoplait Yogurt, Betty Crocker Super moist cake mix, Frosting, Supreme brownies and dessert bars. Potato side dishes, Betty Crocker Magazine, Hamburger Helper, Chicken Helper, and Tuna Helper and many other General Mills items. You can also find Labels on select Pillsbury items.

The logos do have an expiration date on them so please check them to make sure they are still current. So as you clip the logos from the various General Mills & Betty Crocker packages, please check to make sure the expiration date is far enough in advance that when I receive them from you they will still be valid.

By the way, I personally will be collecting them throughout the year and will add them to the PTA’s collection at every monthly meeting.

If anyone is interested in saving these for my kids or wishes to send them directly to the school, please send me an email at [email protected] and I can send you the address on which you can send them.

Thanks to all that have helped in the past and look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Randy

How is the collection going? I have a few to send for the kids. I hope you are able to help the less fortunate kids with our help. I just e-mailed you for the info so I can send you the box tops.
