The Saudis have apparently done an about face and now say we can use their country to launch an attack against Iraq. Why don't I trust them?

Maybe it's because the Saudis are famous for asking us to come onto their land, and then while smiling at us, pay terrorists to kill us for being on their land. That is the sort of logic that you get from the Saudis. Will we fall for it? Again?

Every country over there will do an about face once we have troops in Iraq. What they are all afraid of is to openly support the overthrow of Sadam and then the US doesn't follow through. Iran lost thousands fighting Iraq, Kuwait has felt his wrath. No one wants on his bad side until he has been de-fanged and toppled.
A think it will be alot like when the wicked witch was killed by Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. There will be much celebration when he is history.
