Great article about the new copyright laws and why copyright now lasts over 100 years in many cases. After reading this, it becomes harder to feel empathy for the RIAA and MPAA being hit by peer to peer file sharing.

Reamond, excellent article. As for music, quite a few of the copyrights are owned by the music corporations, not the artists. Funny info on how Disney got started. Thanks. You have the right to an informed opinion -Harlan Ellison

Copyrights shouldn't last any longer than patents, and probably less. Windows will still be under copyright for our great grandchildren.
Could you imagine the explosion in software creativity if Windows had a 20 year copyright ?
