In the past 10 minutes there have been 2 Breaking News alerts from CNN. One states there's bad weather in Ohio with chances of tornados, stating "nothing, nothing can stop it" (??), while the other says a car ran into a house somewhere. What are your thoughts?

The tornado reminds me of the guy in Bandera, Tx who was taking a shower in his trailer (yes, trailer) after Hurricane Allen hit the coast. Of course, there was a tornado. Of course, it blew the trailer apart. The man incurred no injuries, but was an object and possibly abject lesson to all. Never shower in a trailer when tornadoes are a possibility.

Tornados are God's way of telling us that people shouldn't live in trailers

There is news, but it would require news agencies to get up off their duffs and cover it. If you haven't notices, all the news on TV has to be dropped in their lap for them to report it.

Cover news? What a concept!
Now, journalism is not interested in keeping a check on power. They just pass along reports "dropped in their laps" by the Bush administration. Every now and then a tornado comes along and creates so much excitement that they "drop their drawers".
