There are many facts that spell ou the story of how Bush says one thing and is really lying, while he guilty of wrongdoing on a gigantic scale. But that's just Bush. Consider how stupid his admirers and supporters are. They vote for a political party that looks down their nose at them, lies to them about how moral they are, and they use every chance that they get to give thier supporters a barbed-wire enema. And they STILL love him for it!

The inspection teams again found nothing today.

But, it's a losing battle to think that anything can stop this war. It was planned before George was annointed and there is no way to stop it.

Costs of War on Iraq

"Of course, if the inspectors then inspect Iraq and don't find the weapons that the US government has alleged are there, it will be a bit embarrassing for the US. But the Bush Administration has a remedy. There's no need to find an arsenal of weapons of mass destruction to justify attack on Iraq; all that's necessary is for Iraq to continue denying it has such an arsenal. As President Bush recently put it, Should Saddam Hussein "again deny that this arsenal exists, he will have entered his final stage with a lie. And deception this time will not be tolerated. Delay and defiance will invite the severest of consequences."

Peace March Demonstrations

Attendence at these demonstrations is consistently under-reported by the Media.

"What happened at the Neutral Zone that day has become a metaphor for the conduct of modern warfare. While political leaders bask in voter approval for destroying designated enemies, they are increasingly determined to mask the reality of warfare that causes voters to recoil." -from Bodies? What bodies link above-

That's what I keep complaining about. It is obvious that War has been reduced to a distant sporting event and the deaths of our own are given one, brief shining moment in the media, then they too dissappear. It's too clean. Just because the masses of casualties are on their side (so far), that doesn't make War any more moral than it ever was.

Now, it's worse than that. Religion, which requires you to do deep soul searching and innner thinking a lot, now is reduced down to sound bites and feed to you in such a way as you not having to think. "We'll tell you what to think and what to do. That's our job," so goes the littany from tele-evangilists. But it won't bring one person loser to God that way. No, not one.

Finally, politics has been reduced to s sporting event. No longer is an election about issues, it's about Who Wins and Who Looses. Those who loose and continue to fight are heckeled for being 'poor sports' and 'sore loosers' because "the Game is over for This Season. Why bother to go on and on until the next Game time starts?" When this happens, everyone ends up loosing.

Except the few who benefit from this nonsense. Those who receive lucrative millitary contracts to fill for the War Effort will never be made to account for how they spent that money. Those who get filthy RICH telling poor people how to send their live savings to them so that they can make a down-payment on a house benefit a lot. And those who seek political power for their own personal agenda benefit by excluding voters from the issues that affect their lives.

And try as you might to let people know that their house is on fire, they simply want you to shut-up and get out so that they can go back to sleep again.
