Just a note to wish everyone a Happy New Year and some things which might make you thankful or happy.
I'm thankful to have been born in America, for a wonderful husband and children, a congenial daughter in law and the most beautiful, smart and perfect little 4 month old granddaughter. Her name is Claire.
Okay, How about you?

Calamity - Oh how I always enjoy your posts.
Yes, Happy New Year to everyone!!!
We too have so much to be thankful for. We enter 2003 with much unrest in our world, uneasyness about what our future holds. But it's our wish that 2003 will turn a positive corner and bring much happiness to everyone.

Happy New Year to Everybody!!!
We look forward to a world founded upon four essential human freedoms. The first is freedom of speech and expression...everywhere in the world. The second is freedom of every person to worship God in his own way...everywhere in the world. The third is freedom from want...everywhere in the world. The fourth is freedom from fear...anywhere in the world.

Snowy,I beg to differ...
Hard to sell stones in a down turn,Gold is up over 100.00 from last year.Easy to find 10 and 14kt.at sales and thrift stores.and right now,14kt. scrap is almost 6.00 a gram.
Its a lot more at a smelter,(If one is close.)
Watch Gold,You may change your mind.........

CBS Marketwatch ended the year yesterday with the headline:
2002 ENDS WITH A WHIMPER
Let's all hope that 2003 doesn't end with a BANG.
I wish the best year possible for everybody.
