Hi folks,
Maybe some of you remember me, some of you don't. I used to post on AW regularly, until they started charging fees. And at that time, I was one of many outspoken people who refused to give my credit card number when I wasn't using the services any longer.
While I still stand by that position, I'm here posting today because I've just signed up to use the image hosting again.
I got fed up with jumping from free hosting site to free hosting site, only to have them start charging anyway or start prohibiting outside linking to pics. And none were as easy to use as AW anyway.
I almost signed up a year ago, but I decided to try using web hosting instead, because there are a lot of low-cost options out there. But finding a good, reliable web hosting company is not so easy. I know there's a thread going on about that right now in The eBay Outlook. I'd had it with email problems, frequent downtime, and having to jump through hoops to get some customer service. I determined that it just was not for me, since I wasn't looking to build up an ecommerce site anyway.
I also missed the "click to enlarge" feature.
I tried doing that myself, but hey, I want to sell books and write auction ads, not code!

If youre gonna have milk, put ovaltine in it. Or better yet...some kahlua..or however you speel it.
