Willing Anglo-Centric Australia In Centre of Asia & No Mates

What will USA do in the ‘interests’ of Australia, when Korea, or Indonesia, or China, lock sights on Australia?
Nothing, that’s what.
Howard has today, in 1 speech, made even greater leaps in alienated us from our nearest neighbours.
Making references to ‘rogue sates’ and Islam will only give, us as 1 of 3 Anglo-Centric Nation from the ‘Coalition of the willing’ an increased negative view of our ‘allegiances’ to our nearest neighbours.

Remember who were the ones used for ‘canon fodder’ in Gallipoly, by the English.

US General McArthur told us that, in spite of US animated affection for Australians; US interests in defending Australia from Japan in WWII, were only in as far as they could secure bases from which to attack Japan. He also said that those interests would be pursued regardless of who inhabited our continent.

USA use subsidies against our farmers and industry as it suites them.

The Iraqi WOMD they speak of, are no realistic threat to our nation. Let us not forget that USA supplied Saddam with these weapons, and plays with nations and their inhabitants like surplus collateral, shifting their support and aggression as their political ideologies shift.

Will the loss of 20Mill Australians one day also be looked upon as collateral damage.

Our politicians on the ‘right’ who have shown the least assistance for social welfare (IN AUSTRALIA) claim to possess a greater concern for the social welfare of Iraq.
The same goes for the American ‘Right’.

Now those who oppose the war are ‘peacenicks’.
Well… heavens forbid, that we be peacenicks, why should we follow their drums.
Now they attack the French and call them cowards.
They place Turkey under duress by threatening to withdraw aid.
They’ve been bagging Canadians for years
Name-calling and bully tactics, this is not what we teach our children.
Even our RSL does not support this war,
US’ own Colin Powel doesn’t, but as soldier, he does as he is told.

Are we just a colony of sheep, at the service of our colonists.

We have 30,000 in our military, TOTAL.
I know it, you know it, and our neighbours know it.
And many of those are behind a desk.

We are a nation that was truly gaining a reputation as one accepting of all colours and creeds, and much of that has already been lost.
History could have worked to our advantage, but now we are just a pawn.
USA may not need World Support, they can stand on their own, but can we afford to ‘need’ the US to cover our asses.
UK had long ago proven to us that we can not rely on them.
What on God’s earth makes us think we can rely on USA.
20 years ago they told the Palestinian Families in Lebanon they were guaranteed safety too.
Well, then what, 800 murdered unarmed civilians on the streets, that’s what.

In spite of what USA thinks, I believe our Country is the envy of the world, we have acceptance (or we had), we have good health, although now there are talks of cuts there too, in order to fund this crisis.
We can all read and write and count, and we produce some great minds, although it seems we can’t compete to keep them.

We know what mateship is about, it’s not just discovered by troops in a trench.
But ask yourself, Is Bush our ‘mate’.
When was the last time you heard an Australian Prime Minister making racist slurs, like Howard did today, I for one can’t remember. He is making a lot of waves for us, and we are ‘girth’ by much sea.

When was the last time you heard an American politician boast of their multiculturalism.
Do they wholly ‘embrace’ other cultures as we can boast (or did just last year).

U.S. does Not Mean us.

Will USA come to the aid of OUR culture and Country if they don’t feel it in their ‘interest’? I think not.
