Thanks! That was awesome.
I believe any American should feel at least a deep caring for those around them and thier fellow citizens while watching that one.
The slide show gives one the feeling that we as a people are very tough and resilient.
My thought as well while watching it was that the U.S. is showing remarkable restraint in our bombing of Iraq if we believe they supported the terrorism of 9/11.
I had not previously seen the bodies falling from the twin towers but was much more affected by the picture of Rudy Guliani crying and the scenes of people who weren't even firefighters carrying strangers to safety.

Thank you for watching it and for your comments, Patty.
I had not seen the bodies falling before either, and it was very hard to watch that part. I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried when I watched it - my best friend lives just minutes from the towers, and I will NEVER forget what an emotional day Sept 11 was for both her and me...beyond words.
The written notes at the end of the video definitely do remind us just how strong we really are.
I'm glad it touched you - I know it touched me.

Twelvepole - thank you for taking the time to watch it...
You know, "the scum called peace protestors" don't get a lot of things - well, they do get the benefit of enjoying the rights we fight for
By the way, I always enjoy reading your posts - you and bear and colin, actually - it's refreshing (and reassuring) to know that not everyone here is a bleeding heart liberal

Thanks, I needed that.

I have a little edit here:
God Bless America, God Bless President Bush. God Bless our Troops.
Living about 140 miles from NYC this brings all the memories back. We all lost people we knew.
If anyone needs a reason for the war were in today. This is it. Never Again.
America is a new nation by most standards.
We are a nation of one people. A nation of all races, religions and colors.
It doesn't always seem to work but we try like hell to make it right.
We'll make it, despite the barbs of other older countries of the world that think they know better. Despite the anti American subculture we let run amuck in our streets.
Yes, we're little Arrogant. We're also Supportive, Charitable, Good-natured and Brave. When the Sh*t hits the fan we ban together.
We are the big kid on the block. The punks and low life's are trying to bring us down to their level. It won't happen.
Thanks again for the link. It brought tears to my eyes.
Amen,
Reverend Colin

Without reservation, Two Thumbs Up! What a great piece.
I agree with Twelvepole in the fact these people who protest will never get it. Some of them may have already watched it but are to cowardly to admit they were moved by it.
These same people would also complain about the cost of the war effort, but fail to recoginoze the cost of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. The loss of income to the economy, NYC, and the country. They will also fail to recoginoze the cost of the cleanup. Apparently they have forgot about the loss of human life.
Most people started their day the way they normally do. By the end of the day, the lives of so many people were changed forever.
