In it's first appearance an American B2 Stealth bomber has delivered for the first time a 5000 pound bunker buster bomb into downtown Baghdad.
The target was a bunker adjacent to the bunker struck the opening night of the war.
If anyone happened to be watching television earlier today, you saw the tremendious explosion & resulting fire.
Previous bumber busters were only 1000 pound guided bombs.

wow - Now that's a BIG hole.
When I read some who think that we're 'losing the war' after such a short period of time, or that Iraq is doing such a great job of 'holding us back' I just remind myself they don't understand our military might. We're expending a ton of restraint trying to not kill innocent civilians.

What’s ‘ holding US back' is “trying to not kill innocent civilians”, whether it is for humanitarian reasons or to maintain support of those in America or elsewhere that may share humanitarian concerns.
Linda, a question for you.
If you had no troops near Iraq, like before the ships went & hung around there, would you say war with Iraq was ‘right’???????

Yes. I have felt the US has sat back way to long, taking small 'hit's on our nation. [USS Cole etc] and should have shown that was un-exceptable behavior then.
I'm not a 'turn the other cheek' type person. You hit me a couple of times, you'll see my wrath. I don't 'cower' and find excuses and want to think about what to do for 20 years...I want you to quit hitting me.

Linda, US has hit Iraq harder than you can prove Iraq has hit you over the years.
Difference is you 'claim' Iraq sent terrorist on 9/11 and we all know USA armed Saddam, and he hit Iraq and other Arabs for you.
Rumsfeld is a genius! He's got you bluffed, but I think colin knows and loves it.

You appear to be under the impression somehow that throughout history countries have never switched alliances. It's happened all the time in history...it's happening now. France, Germany and Russia are siding with Iraq against their long term allies [us].
Saddam is a terrorist....he is a evil person, both to his citizens and to other countries. He has a track record...so to speak of terrorism. This is not just MY opinion. The world, via the UN, has been working to disarm him for 12 years. All agree he needs to disarm...just no one has the 'guts' to take action except my country to make him do so. NOW, he's going to be disarmed.

Yes, well...if you didn't present a threat to me 20 years ago it didn't bother me so much that you were a snake. But since you're a threat now, I see things differently.

So what your saying now linda is, its ok to be a snake as long as you only bite other people’s asses and I’ll even help you do it because there is something in it for me.
But if you bite my ass then I’ll bite you back.

Linda, it makes you sound like a snake This is why I have ignored your posts in the past. You can't accept that some hold views that differ from yours without insulting them, and just debate the issue or stance. Try to make your point.
Problem with me being the snake is...you've once again changed/twisted the senario/the 'story' line. I wasn't the snake at all, Saddam was. I was the one who was ignoring the snake for a while because the snake wasn't bothering ME, until now....now that he's showing his fangs to me...threatening to me, I'm going to act defensively and prevent his bite.

Hi bear - Yes, I've read his posts before.....but he asked his question so nicely  Then all of a sudden I'm the snake. Well...maybe I am...I'll gladly 'bite' back when he constantly discredits my country with many non-truths.

Don't get mad at Austy, He just fell into a bad group and is misinformed. He should get out for a couple beers and see what life is all about.
The Australians are a great bunch but lately they have been getting a lot of Socialist in government.
I've talked to a few and they promise they will do whatever it take to get them voted out.
