With what went on today, or yesterday in Iraq, with what the Iraqi Ambassador said, and is leaving, I believe this Hussien regime is done.
I know there is still fighting going on
But
I went shopping today, on a certain corner, coming off the freeway, there used to be Anti War protesters everyday, USED TO BE well today there were 2 people holding a huge banner that read:
NO WAR!! and around them they had those No War in Iraq signs, plus one long one that read 'NO BLOOD FOR OIL!'
Isn't it kind of late for this?
We were in the mall behind them, a lot of traffic there, they had a few honks from cars, but really, not many.... and then I heard some shout really loud 'GET A JOB'
In my opinion only, I think its kind of late for this. Its also a waste of time.
God Bless America (not 'merica Helen )

If you ask 10 of these protestors what blood for oil means, you will get 10 different answers. These people perhaps haven't picked up a paper in the last three days, or watched TV news.
I suspect that the outpouring of support will far outweigh the protester's actions. I expect to see more pro-troop rallies when they arrive.
This is not the Vietnam war. Thousands of U.S./coalition troops weren't killed and it is on the run in only 3 weeks. Yes, more will be killed, but the rate of casualties will diminish soon. And the Iraqis are clearly jumping for joy.

Actually, they are not Mr. Magoos because this war is likely to be followed by another war. That is what the peace marchers are focused on now. Only a regime change in America will prevent the eternal war that Bush envisions. By regime change, I don't mean the overthrow of the government but an elected regime.
It's silly to think that the troops will be unwelcome because this is an unjust war. They are doing a magnificent job.
God Bless 'Merica....remember the Nancy letters that krs used to post, NearTheSea?

I remember he posted a lot of letters, only one that comes to mind right now is the infamous 'Cheryl' letters
Aust, maybe the word *could* be a Holy War, but that is not what I believe.
Don't criticize America?... sure, go ahead. You see it everywhere in the world, including the States. Been going on a long time, you may not have noticed, its called
Blame America First
And if there is an end to America (as you probably hope) the left will make that happen

No I don't hope for an end to America,
but an end to their Supremacist/Self Righteous Regime or an end to their world dominant position.
either will suite me fine.
Perhaps Uganda really control/dominate the world, and we should blame them.
The fish stinks at the head, and you have declared yourselves ‘head’.
