Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and Al Gore were in an airplane that crashed. They're up in heaven, and God's sitting on the great white throne. God addresses Al first.
"Al, what do you believe in?"
Al replies, "Well, I believe that the combustion engine is evil and that we need to save the world from CFCs and that if any more freon is used, the whole earth will become a greenhouse and we'll all die."
God thinks for a second and says "Okay, I can live with that. Come and sit at my left."
God then addresses Bill. "Bill, what do you believe in?"
Bill replies, "Well, I believe in power to the people. I think people should be able to make their own choices about things and that no one should ever be able to tell someone else what to do. I also believe in feeling people's pain."
God thinks for a second and says "Okay, that sounds good. Come and sit at my right."
God then address Hillary. "Hillary, what do you believe in?"

Now bear In all fairness....they were forced to return SOME of it. LOL
The picture that's still my favorite was the one where Hillary was leaving the White House with a trench coat on. After the picture loaded it showed her opening and closing her coat....revealing the hidden good silverware. LOL

You haven't figured that out yet.... she's a liberal.... worse than that she is an intelligent articulate liberal.... those are not exact held in high regards around here. They end up with titles such as "Communist" and "Anti-American" because only conservative republicans are acknowledged as true Americans.

"This is a serious question, although I liked the joke! Why do people hate Hillary so much? (Specifics, please.)"
I dont think its as much as what she does as how she does it. Some people just make themselves a target by the way they act and carry themselves. If you think she is hated now - look into the way the teachers in Alabamba thought of her while Bill was govenor.

Personally, I think that a lot of people are offended by her presentation. She is inteligent, educated, strong minded, articulate, confident and willful.
Unfortunately, like a high percentage of extremely intelligent people, she is not often very engaging. She is further hindered by standing always in direct comparison to her extremely charasmatic husband. His every-guy likability made her seem all the more arrogant and distant.
Whereas her personality traits in a man would inspire confidence in his strength of conviction, in a woman it comes across as uppity. In a first lady who is traditionally plays the role of kindly humanitarian adornment it is just that much worse.
To make matters worse, many of those that repected her as a role model of a strong succesfful woman became dienchanted when she did not divorce Bill once his presidency ended.
I do think that she will have a hard time with a succesful run as president because I think that a lot of people will object to the idea of Bill in the White House and unortunately I think even more would have a problem with a single woman there. I think that Bill could correct those problems by taking on a Jimmy Carteresque role in international politics. He is still held in high regard in europe and spending the next few years in a consulting/mediating role in world politics or economics could help to erase the black mark of Monica. His likability and charisma could become an invaluable asset to overshadow her lack of it.

Gee, if Hillary could only refrain from dazzling us with her brilliance and be more like George!
