There's a half-hour (Canadian) show here called "Trailer Park Boys". The characters and surroundings are based on stereo-typical trailer trash. The two main characters, Ricky and Julian, are in their mid-30's and have never had jobs. Ricky's trying to get his grade 10, while Julian has a scheme to grow dope to sell to the local prison. Ricky has an 8 year old daughter, Trinity, who is trying to quit smoking and is on the patch, while her mom, Lucy, is a hairdresser, working out of her trailer. Lucy kicked Ricky out, so he lives in his car on Julian's front lawn. Both of them are in and out of jail all the time, but they don't mind because they grow the dope that's supplied there.
