I wish I could find as much info on the net about Australia as I can about America.

You got to wonder if it’s not a bit obscene, and just how hard some people must be working to muster these contributions and if their time wouldn’t be better spent doing what they are actually being paid to do.
Why cant we (Australia too) have a given amount of equal ‘free to air’ time for all parties and that way avoid political decisions being made at the whim of ‘contributors’.
Now it seems that you have some significant Campaign Finance Reforms, I wonder who will gain the most out of them, Americans?? Reforms
Well gee! Now ‘contributors’ through ‘bribes’ will be able to exercise even greater ‘clout’.
ALL parties will now need to ‘appeal’ to a wider ‘audience’ of those actually capable of making bigger contribution$.
Just off the cuff, I would guess that these changes would bring even greater truth to the phrase ‘The Best Democracy Money Can Buy’
