I'm waiting for Michael to declare so that we can watch the Battle of the Huffingtons!

Arianna would not run if Michael ran as it would put strain on the relationship between their children and their father. I assume Michael is not running.

fenix03 you had me worried there. I thought you were referring to Michael Jackson.

Dave - I disagree about the strain on the relationship. I think they could run one of the few respectable campaigns in California for the same reasons that you feel they would not run against each other. They would debate views and issues as opposed to smear campaigns. From what I have read though, Michael has decided not to run (although he has already paid the fees that would enable him to) but when asked Arianna said that she would allow Michael to make his own announcements.

Ebayauctionguy is a hipocrit. He claims to hate liberals but he wants to vote for Arnold Swarzennager when ALL his policies are liberal.

Just becouse he has an R by his name he likes him.

Thats pretty sad.

You repubs are a bunch of sheep indeed.

I read that Gary Coleman has said outright that he plans to vote for Schwarzenegger. Coleman's whole "campaign" is a publicity stunt.

I'm not in California, but I'd vote for Arnold. We need fewer professional politicians and more working people to get into public office. While Ah-nold isn't exactly the guy next door anymore, he definitely started at the bottom.

replay - Wouldn't you first like to know what his positions are and how he plans to fix all that ails California. Aren't you in the least bit interested in who the puppetmaster is? Who are "his people" that he says he has drawing up a plan for California?

How can you decide you are going to vote for someone who has not made a single substantive statement yet but has shown ignorance on many of the spefici issues he has been questioned on, specifically one tht will prove to be much more real, more expensive and more potentially damaging to the state than the mock power shortage. What about the water?

I may have a different opinion once I hear his real policies, but for tright now, I'm all for him.

Arnold may not have experience or even solid policies yet, but at least I do believe he's not into it simply for the power of the office. unlike, say Hitlery Clinton who is just sooo obsessed with POWER of any nkind.

I'm just getting really sick of career politicans who can't think or speak without running it through their party headquarters. Whatever happened to politicians who want to do the right thing, regardless of what the party thinks?

Career politicians are a BAD THING!

This just in: Michael Huffington has filed his papers and will run. (I hope the cable news guy who said this knows what he's talking about.)

We folks out here in California are watching all this with disbelief. Too bad there isn't even a primary allowed for in this recall election mess.

The worship of celebrities (worldwide, of course) is a disgrace.
