Mr. Kraft had to fly to Ottawa on business today. While in the Toronto airport, he said he saw a bunch of security officers escorting someone and it was Jean Claude VanDamme (sp?)! He said everyone was stunned because he's only about 5'2" and really tiny. Can you believe it!?!

I do not believe Van Damme is even close to 5'2"! He is listed at 5'10" on this site and I think he is close to that. http://www.imdb.com/Bio?Van%20Damme,%20Jean-Claude However, other stars who are short are Stallone at 5'9" and Tom Cruise at 5'7". http://members.shaw.ca/harbord/heights3.html

Henry Winkler - everyone always said he was short but I never got just how short until I realized that the persons whose head I had just bee looking at the back of for 5 minutes in line for my double iced non blended mocha was Fonzie himself. I'm 5' tall, there is no way he is more than about 5'2".
There are also more than a few athletes who are at least 3-4 inches shorter than they are listed and much shorter than you would think from watching them on TV
Could someone explain how being transmitted from an electronic box about 2 feet high makes someone seem taller than they really are.
