It seems some here think that they are shown no respect...

That maybe true, but then reading their postings they show no respect either.

It is PRESIDENT Bush... not "Bush" that is very disrespectful to our President...

SO if you want some respect how about showing some... or reap what yea sow...

There are many other instances I could also point out, but I think you all are smart enough to figure that out.

Who here thinks they're shown no respect? Besides you and colin being unrespectful to others, I don't see anyone complaining. Who do you mean?

Please do tell davebraun, what KMBFA stands for? Is it a nice thing?

And yes, he is President Bush, not Mr. not just Bush, President Bush to you, me, and everyone that is a citizen of this country, the United States.

Its not that hard to comprehend

Hello? Kraft! HUH, you don't see Bigcity/Skylite calling people NAZI, FASCIST SCUM and other stuff???? You really have not seen that?

I don't know if its complaining, but I have told him/her that I am not a Nazi, Fascist etc. I also am not a 'jerk' as davebraun called me in another thread... did you see that one?

Yes, you're right Near. My mistake for not mentioning that.

As far as name calling in general, it seems part of the territory. We're all jerks at times, so I wouldn't worry about it.

ok Aust, I am only 'assuming' you are Australian, I don't know if you are a U.S. Citizen. I don't know if you live here in the states. You have tons of opinions on our President and politics, so maybe you do live and vote here.

But

Yes, 'Dumya' 'Dumbya' and the rest are disrepectful. They just are.

Near, you sure have a bee in your bonnet regarding people from other countries voicing their opinions about your President. Can you tell me how someone from another country should talk about him? Or do you feel they shouldn't talk about him at all?

Kraft you are one of the most disrespectful posters here... as is par for your postings...

Postings were as expected from the liberals... well no you don't have to show respect to President Bush... but then don't expect any for yourself...

And you wonder why no one wants to have a "discussion" with you...

Prescott Bush got into a little bit of trouble back in the 1940s. While American soldiers were fighting the Nazis in WWII, a few of the companies Prescott managed were seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act because they were selling fuel to and laundering money for Hitler's Nazis.

Uncle Prescott, Jr. During the embargo on China, his company was the only US firm allowed to do business there, exporting communications satellites.

Besides their last names, George W and Jeb Bush have this in common: all of their children have been in trouble with the law. Unlike most Americans who commit crimes ranging from sexual misconduct to felony prescription fraud, the Bush Kids never go to prison.

Oh, twelve, come off it already. Don't you think it's hypocritical to show respect to someone you don't respect? Then how about respect for all former presidents as is supposed to be the protocol. Former President Bill Clinton, Former President Ronald Regan. . .you get the drift. I start out respecting everyone. Little by little that respect gets chipped away. Most people are able to keep the respect I have for them. Then there are those who lose it altogether. Bush is one of those people.

Geesh, twelve, you would certainly be loved by any country where speaking out against the government and its leaders would be punishable by death or imprisonment.

Twelvepole, "you" calling for respect is so like the pot calling the kettle black.

I suspect that people have left or avoided this board because of your boorish behavior. I have posted here for about three years and during that time, I have never encountered such frankly crude and insulting remarks.

And now, to attack kraftdinner, one of the best and most intelligent posters that we have is simply outrageous!!!

No Kraft, I don't have anything against people from other countries.

For quite a long time, I thought you were a Canadian citizen, but just recently I learned (from a post here) that your a US citizen

Yes, it bugs me a little, when the Brits, the Canadains, and Aussies attack our leaders, system (yeah they have) when are not the ones that live and work here.

Helen, no ONE was run off of this board. And no one poster ran them off.

CBlev, I have ALWAYS had respect, if it be just for the title, for our Presidents. I may have disagreed with things they did, but the Clinton jokes didn't start up in earnest until he was about out of the White House. And those jokes (the sex ones) he did bring on himself.. IMO.

Hmmm so I see Cheryl, showing respect for someone, means you can't speak out about them?

I don't think so... but your idea of Don't you think it's hypocritical to show respect to someone you don't respect?

Not at all... but I can see how you and others here justify yourselves now... but would saying "President Bush... Vice-President Cheney, I don't agreee with their views at all..." and go on and give your opinion... but folks like Helen, BigCity/Skylite, their posts about our President show some of most obnoxious postings I have ever seen, and the wonder why no one will talk to them respectful...

Helen, I quit caring what you have to say a long time ago...you too are a prime example of someone wanting respect but refuse to show it to others...

Did you learn a new word Helen? Boorish? come on... LOL

No respect at all.!!!

But it’s ok to attack another country.

Reap what yea sow!

Unfortunately we’ll all be paying for our leaders’ sins.

Just saw a great American film; ‘The Long Kiss Goodnight’ (1996) Staring Geena Davis.
In the film, an American Intelligence Agency arranged for “a bomb to kill 4000 Americans and pin the blame on a Muslim”, it was deemed to be ‘good P.R.’ in order to get more funding for ‘security’.

What sorts of minds think up these fantasies.???

I don't see any of those posters starting a thread admonishing others about lack of "respect". Do you?

I don't see any of those posters attacking Kraftdinner because she is from another country either. Do you?

Of course you don't.

Too slow...

Oh and calling me an azzhole is correct thing to do Helen? Even if you did try to post it sneaky... that is pretty obnoxious behavior also... calling people neocons in trying to be insulting manner, calling people facists and nazis... that's right from your friends... that the whole point.. if you post a disrespectfull thread or respond disrespectfully, then you yourself are now open to be disrespected...

Profe51, if he can't answer the question, has to harp on grammer and inane things about the post... nothing really to do with the subject... sneaky like you Helen, underhanded insulting.

Kraft and austbounty are not part of this country and to see their disrepectful posting about AMERICA and won't even validate threads about their own countries... what is their issue? What genuine thing do they really have to say about a country they do not live in...
