Help! I was watching the movie tonight with Candace Bergen. There were lots of twists and turns to the plot. The very last scene shows her turning out the light and leaving the house. Then a man comes down the steps. I don't know who the man was. Was he part of the movie that I missed. I don't get that part. What did I miss? This is going to drive me nuts.

Nothing you missed--he was a surprise. I think that *he* was the one that drugged the whiskey, who was whistling "Daisy, Daisy" at the beginning. The twist, I think, was that her husband didn't have to do anything to get rid of her--this guy, perhaps a crazed fan, was planning to do her in.
