I'm a big horror, scary movie fan anyway, and we need suggestions on some good ones, so I can go get them for tonight

Any suggestions... I think I've seen 'em all, but I'd watch ones again, that were really good.

The only ones I won't watch are the Nightmare on Elm street ones, the Halloween 1, 2,3, 4, 5, 6 ones (seen the 'firsts' of those) and the 'Chucky' movies (imo, they were dumb)

Stephen King'ish type.... I have most of his, best one is the Stand, but too long.

I'm trying to think of the older ones, (and newer ones!) The Day the Earth Stood Still, those ones...

Any suggestions???

Happy Halloween!

I want to go OUT, but Mikey wants to light the old pumpkins and give out candy, so I am going to watch Fright Night movies, dammit!

oh yeah, the Omen.... that was good....

I remember seeing the Excorist when it first came out, and I wasn't a 'kid'... and that one, of all horror movies is the only one that REALLY bugged me maybe it was the head spinning round, or the pea soup thing LOL!

I Spit On Your Grave? wow, never heard of that one!

Oh Attack of the Killer Tomatos!!!!!! LOL!!!!! but to me, that was a comedy more than anything!

Halloween's over here! What a blockhead I am. I keep forgetting we don't get kids out here in the country, and I'm left with 20 pounds of chocolate bars. (??)

If that were true Bear, I'd be a pervert by now.

Do you remember seeing Creature From the Black Lagoon for the first time, Twelve? That, and Children of the Damned gave me nightmares for 30 years!

I recently bought a classic British chiller on DVD: Night of the Demon(also contains the American release version which was called "Curse of the Demon" here). Low-key, but wonderfully atmospheric. And the demon in this film is great!!!

Stars Dana Andrews

Did any of you actually watch a scarey movie last night? Near?

I ended up filling my face with chocolate and watching Chris Pixley on Larry King. Best night of my life, Bear!

Wellllll LOL, since the front door is upstairs, and we set up the whole entertainment thing downstairs in a family room, we SAT AND LISTENED TO THE RADIO, and gave candy out...

which wasn't so bad... we were trying to find the station, where my brother said they were going to play the original War of the Worlds broadcast... and we couldn't find it on the radio, that would have been neat. But we did find out (over and over) on the local news that we are expecting SN*W tonight and tommorow! So Mikes doing yard work and its 35 degrees right now, go figure

When we finally shut down the lights for trick or treaters, we did watch Punkinhead... lame movie, but ...

Great suggestions you guys, I still love to watch horror/scary movies, (also Sci Fi!) thanks for all the titles!

Now how much candy did you eat Kraft? I tried to stay out of it... ate halloween cupcakes though!

KD - and I'm left with 20 pounds of chocolate bars. If one has to have a problem....that's a good one to have.

You sure you didn't do this last year too.
---------

NearTheSea - 35 degrees and snow on it's way??? We were hitting the 40's here for a week or so...and I was soooo enjoying fall and it's cooler weather. Now this past week it's been in the high 80's low 90's. All my bulbs are coming up again. Air conditioner is back on.
