question-is it safe to buy discount first class ticket purchased thru an agency which buys the miles from individuals.
agency buys miles from individuals,then you call and said you are looking for a ticket to go from here to there,agent looks up the flight and book the ticket for you.
agent will only accept amex or visa,not master charge,agent tells you not to tell the airline you bot the ticket thru an agent,just say if asked,you get it as a gift from a friend.
now,is there any string attached??
the ticket is not refundable but dates can be changed.

Last time we did that, we did have to say the points were a gift and who was the giver.

But that was several years ago
