I just got an e-mail inviting me to "sign in" for a free drawing on a SUV from eBay.

It definately has a scam feel. It is a simple page - eBay would talk it to death and have a ton of legal qualifiers. And they don't explain what they are getting out of giving this away - what exactly are they promoting?

Anybody else get it?

Gravid...

That scam has been around for a while. I got a whole collection of scammails and I got a few of the car ones. LOL. Exposing the header really isn't going to tell you much, it's easy to spoof headers. What ya got to worry about is the embedded code and where you might be redirected to.

Some are easier than others to decipher and track to a domain. I chased a few of these down and in one instance recovered the database. The poor person at Account Hijack Livehelp just about died when I C/Ped the list to him. He earned his money that day. LOL.
