Anybody else figure that the only thing that will drive the US to the moon is the certain fact that if they don't go soon the Chinese are going to own it? And all the treaties in the world won't mean a thing once they have a solid foothold there - they will be in a position to deny it to other states and have a superior stratigic placement over low earth orbit too.
