a friend at work emailed me these today. Somebody had emailed them to her, so we don't know where they're from.

Very interesting. They are drawn just for the one camera angle. From the other side they would look out of perspective.

2d looks like it was done in Little Italy in San Diego - they have a weekend every year that feature sidwalk artists. If I remember this year I'll try to post some pics.
