Great photos of Kerry & Edwards the day after they lose the election

Am I the only person on here who was taught to respect the President? We live in the greatest country in the world and George W. Bush is the President of that country. You don't have to agree with him, you don't even have to like him, but you should show respect for him as our President. Then if you choose, vote him out of office.

And you should show more respect for your right to post things like that picture. If you had done that in Iraq a little over a year ago, you would have been thrown off the roof of a 10 story building.

That picture was out of line whether it was Bush-Cheney or Clinton-Gore or the President-Vice President of your choice.

Helen...You can listen to a news story on one network, then turn on another network hear the same story and come away with two totally different ideas about what happened. How can you say someone you have never met and don't know personally is not honorable?

President Bush may be everything you say he is. Then again he may be everything Linda says he is. How do we truly know? You have based your opinion on what you heard on TV. Stories told by people you don't know, on networks controlled by what brings in the money. Would you want to be judged like that?

Like I said, you don't have to like him. You don't have to agree with him. You can vote against him. But don't get personal and trash a man you have never even met.

He is the President of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!!!!!!

There is a difference between respecting the office of President, which I do, and respecting the individual that holds the office.

There is NOTHING that demands anyone has to respect the individual who holds and office.

And by the way, when you make the assertion of Then if you choose, vote him out of office. You're on very thin ice when we consider how the current holder of the office got there. And it would appear that the next election holds no guarantees that it won't be stolen again.

What I know about Hitler is a matter of history and proven facts, Helen.

Comparing President Bush to Hitler just proves my point.

A more rational approach would have been to compare him to President Clinton or his father the first President Bush. Instead, you just proved that you are not even willing to listen to a debate on the issues. All the angels in Heaven couldn't change your mind. Therefore, why should anyone take you or your opinions seriously.

By the way, Am I a Democrat or a Republican? Did I vote for President Bush or Vice President Gore? Who will I vote for this time. You don't know, do you? So, you don't even understand what we are debating.

Common logansdad. Did you find that picture offensive? Or did you laugh. Probably the 2nd one. What if it would have been reversed or even you and someone else. To come in a debate is fine but that was horrible and offensive to I hope the liberal democrats.

He thinks he's cute posting pictures like that and what goes around comes around. I rather think he is probably an adult with a 3rd grade education. Although it took him ovr 24 hours to post another one.

I will make a bet this person has a 2nd Vendio ID and is someone who posts regularly here under a different name.

If anyone post a picture implying that John Kerry should be hung or his grave being pissed on while people from another country are laughing about it, I would say the same thing. Those pictures are in bad taste and are offensive.

I am willing to bet the Secret Service would not find them funny.

By listening only to what the candidates *themselves* say, not how someone else may be twisting what they said. By reviewing their voting records on the issues. By knowing which issues are most important to you and which candidate most supports those issues.

You want my honest opinion....I find this entire election campaign a mudslinging contest. It will only get worse before the election is held. I am sure there will be more offensive pictures by both sides than the two that have already been posted.

I am willing to bet the Secret Service would not find them funny.

Get over it. They are pictures. I have seen worse cartoon ads printed in the newspaper.

Linda

I was wondering where you were. Didn't think you would ever get here. That is exactly the point I was trying to make. If you don't want to vote for someone, then don't. If you feel strongly about an issue and want to discuss it, go for it.

But some of these people just come in here with the hate talk and nothing to back it up. If you back them in a corner and ask for facts, they disappear or get ugly. I can respect someone like you, who back up their arguments with facts and references. It has nothing to do with whether or not I agree with you.

The very people who are preaching tolerance are the ones posting this garbage. Can you imagine what would be said if these things were said about John Kerry? And the sad thing is, they don't even see the difference. They truly believe it is OK when you are talking about President Bush.

Those cartoons are not a good thing either. It is never good to encourage hatred. You never know when some crazy person is planning something stupid for some stupid reason. Not everyone will look at these pictures in the same light as we are. To you they are funny, to me they are offensive. To someone on the edge they may be a good idea. You never know.

gtootie, bad things have been said here about both Kerry and Bush. While I agree that the pics here are in bad taste, are they any worse than the Kerry ones that Bear posts? I agree with logansdad that the mudslinging will only get worse.

Many of us have posted "references" but for us to believe they are "facts" is a bit naive. Weren't you the one questioning Kerry's war record recently and also posting "references"? Aren't you the one with Bush's pics on your website? You are being slightly one-sided here yet you are criticizing others.

I don't really see a lot of "hate talk" here and I often see humor but maybe I read with a bit more open mind than others do. This is only a message board with opinions and some seem to be taking it way too seriously.

I posted references for what I said about his war record. I don't agree with John Kerry on a lot of things, but I don't hate him. And I certainly don't want him dead. I don't think he is stupid. I just don't want him to be President. If he is elected President, I will show him the respect he deserves.

Aren't you the one with Bush's pics on your website?

My website is about animals, mostly dogs. The pictures were of the President and his dogs. Some were of just his dogs. Like I said earlier, he is the President.

You are being slightly one-sided here yet you are criticizing others.

I am criticizing people for hate talk. When you find a picture of John Kerry or Bill Clinton hanging from a tree on my website, then you can accuse me of being one-sided.

Fair enough.

What I am saying is that I don't really think people are "hating" or wanting to see others "dead".

Pictures are posted all over the internet and some may be in bad taste. But to let our minds wander to the reasons behind why they are posted without knowing who posted them or why, it is going over the top. I'm sure lots are posted just to see the reaction they get.
