Just remember Bill Clinton stopped air traffic by having his hair cut on an airplane.

The difference between a liberal and conservative politician is the liberal enjoys spening his/her own money, and taxpayer money. The conservative enjoys keeping his/her own money, but spending taxpayer money. For the most part all politicians are created equal.

disagree on that one - The dems have long held the earned reputation for being the tax and spend party.

Did you miss the thread where President Bush's hair style was being discussed? Maybe some thought he should be flying his hair-stylist everywhere he goes too. But somehow I suspect had he done the same thing kerry has done....we'd be hearing about it.

You're just jealous
The dems weren't in control to spend even more.

There's just a couple of differences between the past 8 clinton years and the past 3+ Bush years......two wars, homeland security, economic recession....

But hey...I agree IF a dem had been in office and none of the above had occurred....those dems would have kept their record of spending up.

You wouldn't be trying to change the subject about kerry's $1,000 hair cut now would you helen?

Speaking of spending....bet it took you a long time and a wad of dough yourself to get all those hard disc files in order so you'd have every word everyone says on these chat boards, huh?

I don't have any chat board files. I'm the one who should say, "huh? to that question.

Last month Bush spent 50 million on his campaign.

And, while Bush is spending all that money he has kicked 300,000 poor children out of after-school programs, 23,000 cops off the street, 83,000 students from the student loan program, depriving 140,000 unemployed workers from job training and removing child care supports to 100,000 working families.

um off topic here..... but Helen, how do you have find all these posts? You've brought up things said years ago, well a couple years anyway.

Save them? or have an incredible memory!

There was one, I won't bring it up again, but you knew every single medal earned by a poster who used to post here. I understand your probably in email contact, but you got all those down to almost the time and place in Vietnam. I'm only mentioning this, because some posters here may not know who he is.

And back on topic, though I didn't click the link about Kerry, I know some men! who spend a lot of money on their hair, and they don't go to your old barbershops anymore, they go to the 'salon'

nearthesea,

I don't have any special skill in finding posts and I really don't know what you mean by "all those posts". The Vietnam military record that you mention was remarkable and that's why I remembered it. There was no mention of time or place in my posts.

You're 2 nosy 2 believe.

..... sorry, I was doing my hair!

I'm too nosey? I do apologize Helen.

I've tried the 'chatting with ya' thing, (you know, like how was your weekend, Happy Spring or Easter, you know, 'friendly stuff') that doesn't work.. so, its back to name calling?

Ok

Your 2 annoying 2 believe

No, we wouldn't--and probably don't. Bush is the most secretive President we've ever had.

They have so much secrecy that a reporter suggested a new slogan for the White House..."When we have something to announce, another country will announce it".

They also keep the media under tight control.
