CBC, at least on the web. Very interesting
They have on their political page a sort of timeline between PM's and U.S. Presidents
like this
1962 – Prime Minister John Diefenbaker on President John F. Kennedy: "He's a hothead. He's a fool – too young, too brash, too inexperienced, and a boastful son of a #*!@!"
1965 – at the height of the Vietnam War, Prime Minister Lester Pearson visited President Lyndon Johnson at the White House. Pearson gave a scathing speech one night about the war, then appeared at the White House the next day to confront a livid Johnson. As Martin describes it, LBJ grabbed Pearson by the shirt collar, lifted the prime minister off the floor and shouted, "You pissed on my rug!"
Former prime minister Jean Chrétien got along swimmingly with Bush's predecessor, Bill Clinton – they were golfing buddies – but he didn't get along as well with Bush. In Bush's White House, the nickname for Chrétien was "dino," as in dinosaur.
The well-publicized dust-up in Prague in 2002 when Françoise Ducros, one of Chrétien's top aides, called President Bush "a moron," is probably a better reflection of the relationships our leaders have had over the years than Martin and Bush's cordial breakfast meeting in Mexico.
1969 – Pierre Trudeau told the National Press Club in Ottawa that living next to the U.S. "…is in some ways like sleeping with an elephant. No matter how friendly or temperate the beast, one is affected by every twitch and grunt."
1971 – When it was revealed that President Richard Nixon called Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau "an azzhole" in his private tapes, Trudeau responded with, "I've been called worse things by better people."
1971 – After Trudeau left a session with Nixon in the Oval Office, the president said to H.R. Haldeman, his chief of staff: "That Trudeau, he's a clever son of a b!tch." Then he said to Secretary of State Henry Kissinger: "What in the Christ is he talking about?"
Trudeau so infuriated Nixon during the visit that Nixon called him "a pompous egghead" and told Haldeman: "You've got to put it to these people for kicking the U.S. around after what we did for that lousy son of a #*!@. Give it to somebody around here." This was when Nixon ordered Haldeman to plant a negative story about Trudeau with columnist Jack Anderson.

This is a site on Canada/US relationships that some may wish to read, especially this apology to the US at the bottom of the page as it's written very nice, better than I can show it here.
On behalf of Canadians everywhere I'd like to offer an apology to the United States of America. We haven't been getting along very well recently and for that, I am truly sorry.
I'm sorry we called George W Bush a moron. He is a moron but, it wasn't nice of us to point it out. If it's any consolation, the fact that he's a moron shouldn't reflect poorly on the people of America. After all it's not like you actually elected him or anything is it....
I'm sorry about our softwood lumber. Just because we have more trees than you, doesn't give us the right to sell you lumber that's cheaper and better than your own.
I'm sorry we beat you in Olympic hockey. In our defence I guess our excuse would be that our team was much, much, much, much better than yours.
I'm sorry we burnt down your white house during the war of 1812. I notice you've rebuilt it! It's Very Nice.
I'm sorry about your beer. I know we had nothing to do with your beer but, we feel your pain.
I'm sorry we supported the United Nations position on Iraq. I mean, when you're going up against a crazed dictator, you wanna have your friends by your side. I realize it took more than two years before you guys pitched in against Hitler, but that was different. Everyone knew he had weapons.
And finally on behalf of all Canadians, I'm sorry that we're constantly apologizing for things in a passive-aggressive way which is really a thinly veiled criticism. I sincerely hope that you're not upset over this.
We've seen what you do to countries you get upset with.

Proves my point...
AIN'T LIFE GRAND...
It's too bad that their blindness can't see they are killing more soldiers than President Bush ever has... Protest Loud and Proud! Your fellow taliban and insurgents are rejoicing at the support...

Kiara, I left out a lot on that ^^ timeline, yes.
wow, after posting that, went to Canadian message boards, and all I can say again is WOW
There seems to be a lot of Canadians on the internet at least, that write as though they absolutely HATE Americans.
examples: a lot will probably be 'censored' by Vendio
Everyone knows that the U.S. are a no-good evil bunch of red-necks who drink urine. My opinion and the Fact- The United States sucks. No longer deserves to be a country. You guys always see one resoultion to things. War.
Last time i checked, we didnt go around trying to blow #*!@ up. We dont go around trying to kill people in the name of "Freedom" We dont go around changing the names of French Fries and French toast to Freedom fries or chips and Freedom toast!!!!
You americans cry when #*!@ happens to you, then you try to make wrong right again with a bomb. You have one angle, one clear sight, and that is a weapon. If you cant make it, BLOW IT UP! thats what makes everyone hate the US, you shits cant stop with the guns. Ill laugh one day when some country tries to invade USA, AND WINS!
lol, we kicked ur ass at the war of 1812,u couldnt beat vietnam, what makes u think u can take Canada? and note u dumb yanks couldnt take the cold
And these are Canadians
Wait, the War of 1812? Canada won? hmmm, gotta recheck some history facts I think
The point; There is a ton of Canadian 'Hate America' boards in the cyberworld at least.

NTS, if you search it won't take long to find just as many "Hate Canada" boards by people in the US and it was especially hard to avoid seeing it when the war started and Canada didn't support it. eBay boards are a good example and Vendio has had several nasty incidents too. It would only take me a couple of seconds to find disgusting things said about Canada and everyone could rush to see who could selectively copy and paste the worst but I won't lower myself to do that.
The words of a few do not represent mainstream thinking in either country, just as the torture of the prisoners doesn't represent the actions of all US soldiers.
There are ignorant people residing in all countries. It's very sad to see them act that way and spoil it for everyone but that's the way it is. It's the responsibility of the person taking in the information to search out the truth. The internet seems to bring out the very worst in everyone, maybe because it's not said "face to face" but words on a screen can still hurt us all.
I'm truly sorry that we can't understand each other better than this.

kiara,
I understand. I'm sure there are 'opposing' American boards as well.
I was looking for Canadian news and your right, about what you said in the other thread, that your ahead of us in the internet access, as I found tons of Canadian boards. (and they were talking about the high speed too, not ALL were anti American boards) I had posted on the other thread, the 'conservative Canadian' board posts, remember? so there's a lot of stuff out there in the cyberworld.
And even though there is a lot of fighting here, its NOTHING like what goes on other places, and thats a good thing.
