Okay Libra - Would you like to start since it was you're suggestion?

We each can list why we've chosen to support the candidate we have....what we see as their strengths....or why we're undecided and which strengths we see in each of the candidates.

How's that?

Well, its a good idea, but I'm wagering IF people do post who and why, it will go off topic.

Let me get back to you, I need to see what LaRouche's issues are..............

I'm voting for Bush for many reasons. The most important is Bush's war against terror. Kerry would treat terrorism as a law enforcement matter.

NTS - I need to see what LaRouche's issues are.... you crack me up...thank you. Yes, I keep forgetting he's out of prison now.

----------------
I voted for Nader in 2000 as a protest vote. I believe he will get plenty of protest votes this time around. But I think our nation is in too great a danger to do a protest vote during this election cycle...too much is at risk.

Main reason for voting to re-elect President Bush is his willingness to take action against those who had declared war on our nation - since 1993....and against those our intelligence says are a continued threat to our nation. Finally someone with a backbone.

Leadership abilities he's shown in going to the UN [I wouldn't have bothered] and getting the Security Council to agree (15-0) that saddam needed to quit playing games or face the consequences. Twelve years was long enough.

I give the credit to him for why we see so many countries cooperating in this global 'war on terrorism'. He's made it clear he's serious about this...and the world doesn't see him as a 'paper tiger'.

Another major reason is that he presents himself as having a strong foundation in his life. He's a man of faith who doesn't only give it 'lip-service'...but practices it. He says what he thinks....calls things like they are....doesn't worry about being PC...and sticks to his convictions. When he makes very tough decisions...he sticks to them...not watching what the polls say....but rather by his sense of right and wrong.

His economic tax plan [cuts] have brought us out of the recession and has turned our economy around. It's working.

I was impressed with Lieberman's concern for our nation....he was the only democratic candidate that I heard repeatedly willing to fight this war....to take it as the serious situation it really is.

Re-elect President Bush!!

Wow, you actually voted Nadar? I did vote for Bush in 2000 and will this year.

I think I said something about this long ago, Mike, my DH he voted for Gore. He gave his reasons, elections came, and well, you know how it dragged on. At the point where Gore went to the Fl Courts, thats when Mike actually got on the phone, and called his TN HEADQUARTERS, he was on the line for a bit, but he told an aide that he regretted voting for him, and started a rant, and they hung up on him Anyway, he is totally for Bush now. He knew all about Kerry in Vietnam.

I like all of what you said about Bush. I believe he is the man who will do what is needed in these troubled times, since 9-11.

From his speech to the nation after Sept 11, 2001

On September the 11th, enemies of freedom committed an act of war against our country. Americans have known wars -- but for the past 136 years, they have been wars on foreign soil, except for one Sunday in 1941. Americans have known the casualties of war -- but not at the center of a great city on a peaceful morning. Americans have known surprise attacks -- but never before on thousands of civilians. All of this was brought upon us in a single day -- and night fell on a different world, a world where freedom itself is under attack.
.........
Our nation, this generation, will lift the dark threat of violence from our people and our future. We will rally the world to this cause by our efforts, by our courage. We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail.

And yes, I am voting for George Bush in Nov.

I will be voting for Kerry. Not because he is so wonderful, but because Bush is so bad.

Bush had big problems from the get-go. 9-11 actually saved his butt; he was going downhill fast before that.

1) he's an ill-educated idiot. How he can present himself as the "education" president while being so proud of how ignorant he is, is beyond me. And he can't string two sentences together on his own without messing up.

2) he was looking for trouble from the minute he got into office. I remember posting here in the RT that he'd get us into a war sooner or later--at the time he was doing his best to piss off the Chinese and he'd only been in office a month or two.

3) in his first 6 months of presidency, he took 3 months of vacation...

4) he has plunged the nation into ever-mounting debt.

5) when he failed to catch Osama he lied to get us into a war with Iraq, which had nothing to do with 9-11 but took attention away from Afghanistan & Osama.

6) he readily screws the rest of us to see to the needs of corporations.

7) his domestic policy is...hey,wait--does he even have one?

8) his administration has steadily chipped away at civil rights. Wouldn't surprise me if he tried to reintroduce the Alien & Sedition Act or intern camps.

9) he is an arrogant and disdainful individual who hides behind a cloak of secrecy.

10) he tries to make his personal religious views the law of the land.

11) he plans to take us from one war to another, something his current policies make plain.

12) I don't trust him farther than I can throw him.

13) he is an ill-educated idiot (yes, I know, but it bears repeating).

I will vote for Kerry. Things over in Iraq are not going as planned, gas keeps going up, the economy is bad, and health care is too high. Its time to let someone else try and fix things. I consider myself a conservative who voted for McCain in 2000.

Nader is irrelevant.

I'm voting for Kerry because he is NOT Bush.

There is nothing the President or John Kerry can do between now and the election short of dying or dropping out that will change my mind.

I dislike NAFTA as well, but china took the bulk of our jobs away. Infact I read where factories in Mexico are leaving for China.

Terrorism is a minor issue for me. Had Bush and Co. been doing their jobs, 9/11 could have been stopped.

Clinton made sure that the U.S. was able to get cheap oil for life from Canada through NAFTA, so he wasn't all that stupid.

Kraft YOU brought up former Pres 'C'!!

thought you guys said not to bring former President C into this......

But what I'm reading here so far, BESIDES Bunnicula, who posted a great post on all her reasons, is that the only reason some are voting for Kerry is because they don't want Bush in

Blairwitch (thought the movie about you was a little scary the first time I saw it btw ) How could Bush have stopped 9-11?
