Now I am not continuing this in the eBay outlook as it doesn't belong there and I don't want to continue it down here. But all I did above was say two words and right away you took it wrong. It does get mean and nasty down here and you have to admit it. Then I tried to give you my opinion and you kept at it. Then Fennx had to jump in. You also have to admit that you do belong to a group and I am not say that group is bad but that group always has to get the last word in. If you notice I also said it was my opinion but you still continued. Please I will try not to antagonize the group anymore as it does take a toll on one. Maybe not you but more sensitive people who try their darnedest to get along with everyone. Of course we all have different opinions and that was my opinion. Let it go....you to fennx.....

Libra - I will say it again. Grow up.

I made a damn joke in EO that was addressed to Kiara not you. Posted a whole 6 words that were actually poking fun at myself and you are going to try and drag me into it.

Don't bring me into your little whinefest over here then tell me not to respond. It does not work that way.

If you can't handle the heat, stay out.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Fennix. I have grown up many more years than you have. I have encountered many more obstacles than you have, I think. You are the one who is acting like a 2 year old and if my daughter was doing that I would give her a piece of my mind. I am not going to continue this with you as it was with Kiara and I. I was the one who said that and I meant it. We all have opinions and you take the words and twist them around to fit into your opinions. I notice Kiara didn't step in as this was directed at her to explain myself and I didn't want to do it in the eBay Outlook. That was a tough thread for the poster, she is a person that has feelings and jumps to conclusion before she thinks. I was trying to help her as I like to do that. I don't like confrontation's and down here that is what everything turns out to be. Take care

I do?

Like I said, that's your perception of things, Libra. I wasn't even at the Outlook or here most of last week but when I went over some of the topics last night I didn't see mean and nasty at all. I saw a few people disagree like they always do but disagreeing isn't mean and nasty.

Then I tried to give you my opinion and you kept at it.

That seems to be your problem, Libra. You can give your opinion and it's supposed to be fact and everyone else is just supposed to shut up then? Sorry, that's not the way it goes in real life or on the boards.

You also have to admit that you do belong to a group

Nope, I never have and I never will. In RL I've always had friends but no way do we ever agree on all issues. Here I agree with certain people about some topics but I don't feel like I "belong" with them as I also disagree with them too.

BTW, your opinion doesn't seem to "antagonize" others, it's their opinions that seems to "antagonize" you!

It's a freakin' message board, so don't take all this crap to heart. Once you realize that you'll feel a lot better.

Libra, you say on Ebay Outlook, "The posters on this board are somewhat critical unlike the round table where they are down right mean and nasty."

Then you come here, where in your opinion we are mean and nasty to insult everyone again? Maybe you should examine your attitude rather than ours and handle your problem where it originated, on Ebay Outlook.

Libra, you did start it in the Outlook in a thread that had nothing to do with the RT. And now you say you don't want to continue it down here yet you start a whole new thread so that doesn't make sense to me at all. In fact it seems that you just want to start more trouble.

BTW, fenix. I've been deliberately avoiding you because I don't want to be the next one that you run off the board. Hahahaha......

Hi Helen. I'm almost afraid to greet you in case I suddenly become your groupie.

Libra

I don't think we are mean and nasty here on the Round Table. I know that sometimes it sounds like we are being mean and nasty, but we all have strong opinions. However, this is a board you need to stay away from if debating sometimes sensitive issues is not your thing.

I agreed with you Cheryl up and until you said - However, this is a board you need to stay away from if debating sometimes sensitive issues is not your thing.

Many have been run off when expressing their opinions....some people are more sensitive than others....and some believe that people can disagree without being mean and nasty or throwing out insults while disagreeing on the various issues. Have civil conversations.

It takes a while to get used to the 'process' here...where most who post regularly are very opinionated and willing to argue their position. Others choose not to argue but just wish to state their own opinion....without confrontation....without being called names.

I don't think that's too much too ask for. Being civil....tolerant that there are different sides to all issues.

Libra: actually from what I have seen, things can get just as "mean & nasty" in the EO as they ever do here in the RT. And there are cliques there as well. So your posting didn't make much sense to me.

But I must say I am curious about this thread. You make it sound as if Kiara & Fenix jumped on and whaled the tar out of you for what you said in a thread in the EO and theat you feel somewhat abused over it. The thing is, they didn't. Kiara made three calm replies to you, and Fenix made one response in the formof a laughing face. At no time did they sound "antagonized" at all.

So why did you start this thread in the RT telling them to "let it go"? Let go of what?!?

edited to add "in the EO"

:: I am not going to continue this with you as it was with Kiara and I. ::

Then why did you address me? If you don't want my input - don't address me. Certainly do not delude yourself into believing that I am going to bend to your will just because you have been alive longer than I.

As for the many more obstacles. You know nothing about my life Libra or the obstacles I have overcome so do not not be so arrogant as to imply that you do.

Kiara... - come here, wanna be part of my group... Do I have a group? I think the the person I converse most with is Linda but since we disagree with each other on everything I don't know that we would be considered part of a group.

Oh gee....that's so exceedingly gracious of you to say that, linda. Is that what you refer to as a keeper?

I agree...calling the Round Table mean and nasty and doing so on another board is just not nice.

LOL! ok I'll go with Cheryls beginning

There once was a poster from Nantucket
Who kept all of his cash in a bucket,
But his/her daughter, named Nan,
Ran away with a man,
And as for the bucket, Nantucket

....... has nothing to do with RT or the posters

This poem was written, and no posters were injured or hurt during its writing
