WASHINGTON (June 13) - A State Department report that incorrectly showed a decline last year in terrorism worldwide was a ''big mistake,'' Secretary of State Colin Powell said Sunday. ''Very embarrassing. I am not a happy camper over this. We were wrong,'' the secretary told NBC's ''Meet the Press.''

Looks like Bush and his government are misleading the American people again.

VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS AND OUTSOURCE THE BUSH GOVERNMENT.

VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS AND OUTSOURCE THE BUSH GOVERNMENT.

Vote for Democrats? What for? There's no difference between Kerry and Bush. Kerry, like republicans, is ruled by special interests. Kerry is pro-war and Kerry is against gay marriages. He's got the spine of a wet spaghetti noodle. What does millionaire Kerry know about working people? Elitist Kerry might as well join the republican party! How long will progressives put up with this crap? For real change, vote for Ralph Nader!

Stop the War! Vote for Ralph Nader!

Ralph Nader is a JA. He's the reason Bush is in office today. Get over him, the 60's are over and he brings nothing to the table. While I'd agree that Kerry is not the best choice for a Democrat, at least he has a plan. It's no secret that I support the ONLY candidate who has not lied or backed down on his convictions and that's Dennis Kucinich. Dennis doesn't wear flip-flops nor does he apologize for anything he's ever done. He's forthright and upfront. Too bad the rest of the country cannot see that and too bad the Democratic Party is too interested in bring wealth into the party. As it stands, there is really no potential candidate (because I know DK has no chance this statement does not include him) that is worthy of the position. IMO.

The Bush team is chock full of liars and deceivers. Kerry doesn't know where he stands from one day to the next. And, Nader is just an old hippie who refuses to die. Do I sound frustrated yet? The news media paved the way for Kerry. They paid little to no attention to DJK. IMO, the right is glad to have Kerry in the running. He could very well hand the election to them.

I don't know how you can vote for Kerry and then look at yourself in the mirror. Kerry is a bigger warmonger than Bush! Instead of bringing the troops home, Kerry wants to send MORE troops???

For real change, vote for Ralph Nader!

The only way this war will be ended anytime soon (other than completely withdrawing now, and that isn't going to happen) is for us to send more troops.

Bush got us into this thing, then vastly underestimated the number of troops that would be needed. Now we have only three choices: withdraw immediately (not gonna happen), send enough troops to fight the war properly now that we're in it, or use weapons and tactics that would make us as bad or worse than what Bush says we're fighting...

And, Nader is just an old hippie who refuses to die.

Ralph Nader is running because democrats are not acting like democrats.

Democrats voted for or failed to stop the Iraq war resolution turning Bush into a wartime president.

They voted for or failed to stop the Patriot Act.

They voted for or failed to stop John Ashcroft.

They voted for or failed to stop Bush’s tax cuts for the wealthy.

They voted for or failed to stop the Medicare fiasco.

They lost the 2002 midterm elections, contrary to historical tradition.

In 1983, the Democrats controlled 23 more state legislatures than the Republicans; today the Republicans control five more than the Democrats.

In 1983, there were 18 more Democratic governors than Republican ones; Now there are three more. New York, Massachusetts, Kentucky, California, Florida and Texas are all Republican controlled.

More young adults today identify themselves as Republicans than 20 years ago, while fewer identify themselves as Democrats.

At what point do you stop relying on a party to be an opposition party and start asking what else needs to be done to put some spine into Washington politics?

The democrat party needs change and they will never change unless we send them a message by voting for Ralph Nader. Ralph Nader is running to take our democracy back from the corporate interests that dominate both parties.

parklane64, the only thing you can come up with is an old worn-out and transparent republican tactic by saying something bad about liberals.

cyberseller01, posts about a non issue, Ralph Nader and by the way John Kerry does want enough troops to do the job right. John Kerry wants support from other countries not just more American troops. You posted yet another republican untruthful misleading statement.

bunnicula and cblev65252, YOU ARE RIGHT!!!!

VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS AND OUTSOURCE THE BUSH GOVERNMENT.

Even if the planets all aligned and Nader somehow got elected, he could not govern or get one piece of legislation through. Nader would be a disaster.

A vote for Nader is a vote for Bush.

A vote for Kerry is not much different than a vote for Bush.
