This is what Kerry has to do. Hope they manage to mess it up. She would ride the Kerry administration like a painted pony.

I might as well state that, IMHO, this is a worst nightmare come true for the "military-industrial machine". Someone whom has been to Viet Nam and seen the bogus waste of Americans just to milk the taxpayers. Let's get a ballpark figure. Those against U.S. imperialism will vote for him. Those that want to advance the feminist agenda will vote for him. Those that want 'Camelot II' to continue will vote for him. Those ditzs that just love Clinton will vote for him. And then there are the practical taxpayer's, conservatives, that see possibly HUNDREDS of BILLIONS in savings (both costs and interest) on withdrawal from overly exposed middle eastern positions. If they back gay marriage I think they have Bush 2 to 1. This not being Chess, you can un-do your moves AND change your strategy in the war on terror. We can at least count on this liberal piece of #*!@ to stand up and fight the good fight. Sorry, buddies, we took 8 years of Clinton and it looks like at least 4 more. IMHO, Kerry had better watch his six, we'll save him a spot right next to Vince.

edited because you fixed it.

Anything's possible...but I don't see it happening. I know the dems are worried about his current numbers....but she comes with tons of old 'baggage'.

I kind of hope he does pick her - many will decide against their ticket for that reason only.

The article says:

You will have a fully engaged national debate on health care from now until the election."

But I don't see it that way. We'll be discussing everything that happened during his administration that involved both of them - right down to stealing the WH silverware.

Re-elect President Bush!!

I'm sorry parklane, your post doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe I'm just not reading carefully, for the third time. As to the link, Drudge is just Drudge. He swings about a thousand times before ever getting a hit. If it turned out to be true....well, I'll vote Democrat even if Kerry chooses you as veep.

I think he will ask Gephart or Edwards to run with him.

Bigpeepa, I've often thought about that too. Why is it that people who bark the loudest against (fill-in-the-blank), are the ones that are guilty of the very thing they squawk about, yet have no clue how to make the connection between themselves and the thing they're against even though everyone else realizes it?

I think Hillary biggest hurdle will be her age but running as VP could solve it all. She'll be 57 by the election. If Bush wins she could come back and for for pres at 61 without too many troubles bu if Kerry won, she could not run against him so she would realistically be 65 before she could run again for the Party nomination. I don't see the american public electing a 65 year old woman for the top spot....... unless of course she has had 8 years of successful service as VP to increase her poularity level.

Hillary plans to run in 08, she wouldn't accept the VP if offered....

But Prof - she can only run is Kerry loses. She can't exactly run against a sitting president for their parties nomination. A Kerry win has always been the one hitch in the giddy-up for an eventual Hillary presidency - a vice presidency would be a possible solution to that hitch. Who knows is she will but if I were in her position and the seat was offered, I'd probably take it..... but wait - does she have to leave her senate seat to run?

Oops, you're right fenix, I forgot about that, maybe she would accept after all....I don't think she's required to give up her seat to campaign...Lieberman didn't, and in fact he ran for reelection and won!

Maybe Kerry's going to offer it to Bill

Kraft are you really that naive?

So white people that barked the loudest for civil rights were deep down black?

No doubt about it. It's a fact!

LOL! My god, could you imagine that one? Fox commentators would be have annurisms left and right. Bear, Twelve and Linda would go completely around the bend and while all of the conservatives are busy losing their minds, Kerry would win in a landslide.

Fox could then set up Intern Watch 2005 outside the VPs office desperately seeking a new scandal.

Actually, if Kerry does win, I will bet you dollars to donuts that that is exactly what they will do, and waste another 75 million taxpayer dollars.
