Set the record for the least amount of press conferences than any president since the advent of television.
Signed more laws and executive orders amending the Constitution than any president in U.S. history.
Presided over the biggest energy crises in U.S. history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed.
Presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history and refused to use the national reserves as past presidents have.
Cut healthcare benefits for war veterans.
Set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind.
Dissolved more international treaties than any president in U.S. history.
My presidency is the most secretive and unaccountable of any in U.S. history.
Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history (the 'poorest' multimillionaire, Condoleezza Rice, has an Exxon oil tanker named after her).
First president in U.S. history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously go bankrupt.
Presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud of any market in any country in the history of the world.

First president in U.S. history to unilaterally attack a sovereign nation against the will of the United Nations and the world community.
First president to run and hide when the U.S. came under attack (and then lied saying the enemy had the code to Air Force 1)
First U.S. president to establish a secret shadow government.
Took the biggest world sympathy for the U.S. after 9/11, and in less than a year made the U.S. the most resented country in the world (possibly the biggest diplomatic failure in U.S. and world history).
With a policy of 'disengagement' created the most hostile Israeli-Palestine relations in at least 30 years.
First U.S. president in history to have a majority of the people of Europe (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and stability.

Changed US policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
Set all-time record for number of administration appointees who violated U.S. law by not selling huge investments in corporations bidding for government contracts.
Failed to fulfill my pledge to get Osama Bin Laden 'dead or alive.'
Failed to capture the anthrax killer who tried to murder the leaders of our country at the United States Capital building.
After 18 months I have no leads and zero suspects.
In the 18 months following the 9/11 attacks I have successfully prevented any public investigation into the biggest security failure in the history of the United States.
Removed more freedoms and civil liberties for Americans than any other president in U.S. history.
In a little over two years created the most divided country in decades, possibly the most divided the U.S. has ever been since the Civil War.
Entered office with the strongest economy in U.S. history and in less than two years turned every single economic category heading straight down.

The Rules of Conservative Correctness

* If anyone disagrees with you, they are a "Democrat"

* If anyone argues with you, they are a "Liberal"

* If they argue with you and actually present data (formerly known as "debating",
shrug it off as "propaganda from the Liberal Media"

* If you cannot rebut the argument pick on details such as misspellings, improper
punctuation or taglines

* If your opponent has an unrefutable argument, change the subject

* If your opponent consistently overturns your "correct" stories (anything told
by Rush Limbaugh), use ad hominem attacks.

* Anyone who puts life over profits is a "tree hugger"

* Anyone who refutes or debates "correct" science (Creationism, Ecological
Stability) is a "sky-is-falling" reactionary

* Anyone who opposes the melding of religion and government is one of the
"liberals" who helped create the rampant immorality today

* Any federal program created by a Democrat, or that "looks" Democratic is
"socialistic".

* Dismantling programs and restrictions on spending then sending the money to
states as a "block grant" is better than having a standardized Federal
program with rules

* Giving tax money to People is "enslaving them", giving tax money to Corporations
is "making jobs"

* Anything that does not turn a profit for private corporations is "an elitist"
operation

* Always take everything personally

* Whatever your weakness is, blame it on your opponent

* The more narrow and prejudiced your sources, the more you project that onto
your opponent

* When your opponent attacks a Republican/conservative President's policies,
blame them on a Democratic Congress (or vice versa)

* When quoting your opponent, edit his words to conform to "correctness"

* Anyone who reads anything beyond "the Limbaugh Letter" is an "ivory tower
intellectual"

* When all else fails, say so very sad, so many lies

Truth be known....the left doesn't usually support their statements/lies with any proof. They just continue repeating lies over and over and over. Guess they believe if they repeat themselves enough times....it will come true.

They tend to only ask questions - make accusatons....rarely answer questions put to them. It's a clear pattern with most lefties here. There are exceptions....but they are few.

Poor lonely linda, sits in her tower and repeats and repeats, "the left doesn't usually support their statements/lies with any proof".

She says it so much she actually believes it!

The proof, you pathetic creature, is all around you, you chose not to see it.
There is more to life than googling, you poor thing. Maybe if you had actually LIVED a life you could see that. It's so sad, my heart goes out to you.

Here Maggie - I challenge you to support two statements on your long, long list.

1) Cut healthcare benefits for war veterans.

2) First president in U.S. history to unilaterally attack a sovereign nation against the will of the United Nations and the world community.

3) First president in U.S. history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously go bankrupt.

So...let's see how you back up those accusations.

It's already been made clear that crowfarm can't back up statements he/she makes. Just like to make accusations without giving any support.

We'll see if Maggie's the same way or not.

Bush VA Spending Fails To Grow With Health Care Costs
Despite Bush's claims, "the annual percentage increase it requested for veterans' health care is 5.4 percent -- hardly a windfall considering that the consumer price index for medical care was 13 percent during fiscal year 2002. VA officials have testified that it would take a 13 to 14 percent hike in the VA's health care budget just to maintain the status quo." [Rep. Lane Evans (D-IL) Op-Ed, The Hill, 9/17/03]

Veterans Forced To Wait Months For Initial Visits to VA Doctors
At least 230,000 veterans are being forced to wait over six months for their initial visit to a doctor at the VA medical facilities. In some parts of the country veterans are waiting nearly two years for those visits. Bush's VA Secretary Anthony Principi has acknowledged the danger in these delays, stating "I'm concerned [the delays are] causing quality to be degraded."

The "Independent Budget," an analysis of the VA budget provided by veterans groups, has said "The Department of Veterans Affairs health care system is in critical condition." Meanwhile, the Bush administration opposed a Senate addition to the Iraq supplemental bill that would have added $1.3 billion to veterans' health care. [Air Force Magazine, 10/02; http://www.pva.org/independentbudget/pdf/IB_04excsum.pdf; OMB Director Joshua Bolton to Rep. David Obey (D-WI), 10/21/03]

Bush Administration Is Closing Seven Veterans Hospitals
In early August 2003, the Bush administration announced it was closing hospitals in its efforts to "restructure" the Department of Veterans Affairs. The administration is closing hospitals in:

Canandaigua, N.Y.
Pittsburgh
Lexington, Ky.
Brecksville, Ohio
Gulfport, Miss.
Livermore, Calif.
Waco, Tex.
Joy Ilem, assistant national legislative director for Disabled American Veterans, "questioned the need for closures and other cutbacks. 'Everyone is aware of the difficulty VA has meeting demand,' Ilem said. 'When we have hundreds of thousands of veterans on waiting lists (for medical appointments), we don't want to see facilities closed due to fiscal problems.'" There are currently 163 VA hospitals in the US. [Associated Press, 8/4/03, 10/28/03; Department of Veterans Affairs]

In mid-August, as Bush vacationed in Texas, a thousand veterans and supporters rallied in Waco, Texas to protest the closing of that VA hospital. The protestors met at the Waco School District football stadium parking lot "for a rally before driving the 22 miles to Crawford," where Bush was vacationing. "Veterans of Foreign Wars State Commander Ron Hornsby told the stadium crowd that the VA commissioner looking at closing hospitals could harm veterans all across the country, not just in Waco. 'We can never repay the veterans -- we hear those words a lot,' Hornsby said. 'At times like this, those words become very hollow, very meaningless.'" More than 1,500 vets joined a similar October rally to protest a VA closing in New York. [San Antonio Express-News, 8/17/03; Associated Press, 10/20/03, 10/28/03]

Bush Proposed Doubling Costs Of Prescription Drugs For Veterans
This year Bush proposed increasing prescription drugs costs for veterans. The Bush plan would have included a new $250 enrollment fee and a co pay increase from $7 to $15 for veterans earning over $24,000. On July 21, the House Appropriations Committee agreed to a Democratic amendment to reject the Bush fee increases and recoup the $264 million in costs by reducing administrative funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs. [Reuters, 7/14/03; Washington Post, 7/22/03]

Bush Decided To Cut Benefits For Middle-Income Veterans
On January 16, 2003, the Bush Administration announced it would cut access to health care benefits for 160,000 middle-income veterans due to budget constraints. John Pettyjohn, an Oklahoma veteran who served in Vietnam, said of the cuts, "On one hand, we're sending our sons and daughters out to war and possibly to die, yet on the other hand we're punishing a certain class of veterans who've made money in their lives. The government made a promise to us. What they're doing now is wrong." [Associated Press, 1/16/03; The Daily Oklahoman, 1/18/03]

Good Morning!

Don't you people ever sleep?

Okay...here we go..
Linda... I was surprised to see that you were able to find three (3) facts out of (75+) that you think you may, just may, be able to dispute..
You asked me to provide proof for just 2 of the 3...
It seems that Crow very eloquently provided you with the answer to your first question..

Bush is the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. He did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community. FACT

His government presented evidence of WMD to support the invasion. Half a year after controlling Iraq there is no WMD evidence.FACT

He cut health care benefits for war veterans and supports a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families -- in war time. FACT

In his State of the Union Address, he lied about his reasons for attacking Iraq, and then blamed the lies on our British friends.FACT

When another country goes to war without the UN approval, we call the leaders of those countries..criminals..

I believe a patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government....

Having said that.. I also believe it is only the intellectually lost who ever argue....

Bearsh*t..says: was out in my pasture today & one of my cows dropped a load, I swear the sound that was made when the caca hit the ground sounded like maggiemuggins. And smelled like it too.

All that playing in and sniffing your cow sh*t has gone to your head.. sh*t for brains.. LOL I have a vision of you following behind your cows in eager anticipation of the next sloppy flop, nostrils all flaring... quivering in anticipation...you live such and exciting life..BROWN FINGER BOY LOL

And Miss Helen says..While I've been relaxing and observing, I see that Linda has put her grinning bullets away -- except in two cases when just the thought of me brought them out again.

Well Miss Helen....

I too am exceedingly perceptive about posters who think so highly of themselves, that they write things like..the above..LOL..when just the thought of "ME" brought them out again..
Reminds me of the song... You're so Vain..I bet you thought this post was about you.. you're so vain..la,la,la...Get over yourself Princess..who pronounced you Queen of the Round Table? Your little lap dog, ole yellow? I'll admit that he works hard to kiss your ass..in fact he does the work of three men, curly, Larry, and Moe..
It is quite apparent that when Helen doesn't get her adequate amount of praise and isn't the complete center of attention.. she pouts and calls for her lackeys to shower her with more adulation..

Wow Maggie!!! Impressive!

Has the kerry camp hired you on yet? lol.
They should!! You are wasting your talent over here!

I have a question about one of the points, though. Call me lazy or just disinterested in the real truth if that whats I am supposed to find out for myself. But when did Maine institute drunk driving as a criminal offense? I've always thought most states were more lenient about it (especially 'back-then'?) I know here they just now worked it in the general assembly that 1st time offense, blah, blah, 2nd time, blah, blah and then third time a felony with a prision sentence. I could be mistaken, but I am pretty sure thats how it goes.

So many people were drinking and smoking back then.,..unaware of the perils and it was all so glamorized....

(btw, maybe I am unaware or disaffected to drunk driving, so to supporters of MAD, etc., I apoligize...I know its a terrible thing, despite my emotional distance and experience with it.)

Helen it seems to pizz you off to no end that somebody doesnt have to choose a side to be a spectator or commentator.

Thats the great thing about this country. theres no commandment saying choose sides, or I'll blow your brains out.

Maggie just laid out some of the best punches I've seen for your 'side' yet and you choose to alienate her? What is really wrong with this picture?

- Well, at least Linda can feel better at the fact your volatile indiscrimation (sprinkled with your own brand of pomposity, of course) is not all saved up especially for her!! (Sorry linda for dragging your name into it - couldnt resist the irony here! )

Well you just better watch what you type as I have been criticized you might be also. You are not to sharp in your spelling either but then I am not going back and retrieve the ones you did. Big Brother is watching you.....and I am not Big Brother...

All it can do is cut and paste and repeat what everyone says. Great way to post doesn't get you into to much trouble until it opens its mouth and tries to say something smart.........

Well Maggie you come in and try and wake things up with your cutezie posts to get everyone on your side then you show your true colors. Do you have a 2nd user ID...more popular that this one.
